Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) allows the automatic networking configuration of computers and devices (clients) in Internet Protocol (IP) networks. It is used by clients to request an IP address and obtain configuration parameters (netmask, router IP address, Domain Name Server –DNS– address etc.) for IP networking from a DHCP server. For this purpose, a pool of IP addresses is administered and maintained in a DHCP server. In order to reuse an IP address that is no longer needed by the client to which it was assigned, a lease time parameter is applied. That is, each client leases an IP address from the chosen DHCP server for a limited period of time.

The role of Internet Protocol (IP) is becoming more and more problematic especially with the new requirements of mobility and multihoming. Host Identity protocol (HIP) defines a new protocol between the network and transport layers in order to provide a better management to those requirements. The protocol defines a new namespace based on cryptographic identifiers which enable the IP address roles dissociation. Those new identifiers identify hosts rather than IP addresses. Because HIP is a quite recent protocol, we propose to present an experimental evaluation of its basic characteristics.

A short-term solution for the depletion of Internet Protocol (IP) addresses and scaling problems in network routing is the reuse of IP address by placing Network Address Translators (NAT) at the borders of stub domains. In this article, we propose an implementation of NAT using Programming ProtocolIndependent Packet Processors (P4) language, taking advantage of its features such as target-agnostic dataplane programmability. Through the MACSAD framework, we generate a software switch that achieves high performance with the support of different hardware (H/W) and Software (S/W) platforms. The main contributions of this paper relate to the performance evaluation results of the NAT implementation using P4 language with MACSAD compiler.

This paper analyzes the content of Internet naming problems as well as the current exist problems .We discuss the namespace and the major technologies, and then elaborating the important thinking on research of naming problems detailed and propose development direction in the future. In the paper, we propose a new method for devices naming due to the issues that exist in the Internet naming. Using this technical, it can solve the problem of the extremely scarce IPv4 and the IP address changed frequently on Internet devices. Equipment naming scheme has five major components: equipment name registered server, equipment communication server and client domain name server and client communication agency, the client login and configuration. It is a pattern in which the mobile device uses configured client software to issue a request to NG-DNS (new generation domain system).we have analyze on the realization of the key technology on the windows system. It has realized communication among equipments which are mobile, wireless, dynamic IP address, and hidden NAT and firewall. The method can be extended entry of Android devices.

The Internet is built atop the Internet Protocol (IP) which has at its heart a unique identifier known as an IP address. Knowing the location of an IP address can be very useful in many situations such as for banks to know if a connection is in progress from online fraud hotspots. IP addresses can be spoofed allowing hackers to bypass geographical IP restrictions and thus render some category of fraud prevention useless. Anonymous proxies (AP) which act as intermediate relays which disguise the source IP addresses can play a large role in cybercrime. There is a need to ascertain whether an incoming IP connection is an original source matched IP address, or one being routed through an anonymising proxy. This article concentrates on various methods used by anonymising proxies, the characteristics of the anonymous proxies and the potential mechanisms available to detect if a proxy is in use.

To build a network interconnect Local Area Network (LAN) that will be needed in the form of Virtual groups Local Area Network (LAN). DHCP IP address given by the router to the PC located in the network. NAT (Network Address Translation) is one method that is used as an IP translation to gain entrance into a different network. NAT (Network Address Translation) can allow a host to go into different networks without allowing the host intended to tap into their networks using VLAN With the two different networks into a single switch can be connected. Giving DHCP IP will allow the network administrator to provide the IP address to a PC for IP assigned automatically by the router. An IP host is forwarded in a network with NAT.

Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol merupakan service yang memungkinkan perangkat dapat mendistribusikan/assign IP Address secara otomatis pada host dalam sebuah jaringan. Cara kerjanya, DHCP Server akan memberikan response terhadap request yang dikirimkan oleh DHCP Client. Selain IP Address, DHCP juga mampu mendistribusikan informasi netmask, Default gateway, Konfigurasi DNS dan NTP Server serta masih banyak lagi custom option (tergantung apakah DHCP client bisa support). Mikrotik dapat digunakan sebagai DHCP Server maupun DHCP Client atau keduanya secara bersamaan. Sebagai contoh, misalnya kita berlangganan internet dari ISP A. ISP A tidak memberikan informasi IP statik yang harus dipasang pada perangkat kita, melainkan akan memberikan IP secara otomatis melalui proses DHCP.DHCP CLIENTPada saat kedua DHCP client dihidupkan , maka komputer tersebut melakukan request ke DHCP-Server untuk mendapatkan nomor IP. DHCP menjawab dengan memberikan nomor IP yang ada di database DHCP. DHCP Server setelah memberikan nomor IP, maka server meminjamkan (lease) nomor IP yang ada ke DHCP-Client dan mencoret nomor IP tersebut dari daftar pool. Nomor IP diberikan bersama dengan subnet mask dan default gateway. Jika tidak ada lagi nomor IP yang dapat diberikan, maka client tidak dapat menginisialisasi TCP/IP, dengan sendirinya tidak dapat tersambung pada jaringan tersebut.Setelah periode waktu tertentu, maka pemakaian DHCP Client tersebut dinyatakan selesai dan client tidak memperbaharui permintaan kembali, maka nomor IP tersebut dikembalikan kepada DHCP Server, dan server dapat memberikan nomor IP tersebut kepada Client yang membutuhkan. Lama periode ini dapat ditentukan dalam menit, jam, bulan atau selamanya. Jangka waktu disebut leased period.DHCP RELAYDHCP Relay adalah proxy yang mampu menerima dan mengirim ulang permintaan DHCP ke DHCP server yang sebenarnya. Pada jaringan besar umumnya terdiri dari banyak segmen (umumnya VLAN) dan ratusan atau bahkan ribuan komputer. Tentu sulit sekali untuk me-manage IP untuk sekian banyaknya PC itu.Kata Kunci : Jaringan dan Komputer

Perangkat komputer sangat dibutuhkan dalam menyelesaikan pekerjaan – pekerjaan pada sebuah perusahaan, untuk memudahkan dalam pengambilan data yang terpusat berbagi sumber daya maka komputer harus terhubung dengan jaringan lokal area network. Menggunakan ip address setiap komputer yang berbeda-beda dapat terhubung ke jaringan lokal area network yang dihubungkan dengan kabel atau perantara wirkabel, dalam memudahkan akses sebuah server dapat menerapkan domain name server sehingga mudah untuk mengingat nama domainnya ketimbang harus mengingat ip address nya. Penelitian ini menggunakan beberapa tahapan metode yaitu dimulai dengan analysis yaitu melakukan Analisa kebutuhan perangkat keras dan perangkat lunak, kedua desain yaitu melakukan rancangangan topologi jaringan, ketiga implementasi yaitu melakukan penerapan konfigurasi pada ubuntu server 16.04 dan keempat testing yaitu melakukan pengujian terhadap hasil implementasi. pada pengujian dilakukan, pengujian koneksi menggunakan ip address dan domain dari pengguna ke server menghasilkan terhubung, serta pengujian query dengan perintah nslookup dari pc user ke server menghasilkan dapat menerjemahkan alamat domain dengan ip address
