The following work follows my transition from an early childhood educator co-researcher to a master’s researcher in a pedagogical inquiry project in relation with movement. This MRP presents two articles that draw on a pedagogical inquiry project in Toronto, Ontario. Educators and researchers collaboratively investigated movement pedagogy through conversations and provocations in the playground. Of particular interest to this MRP is a rethinking of documentation practices, as well as discussion of what it might mean to move well together in early childhood education. The first article presents documentation as performativity as a way of rethinking boundaries between the human, material, and subject in representational practices. The second article thinks with movement practices as a moving with species of least concern through the redefining of environment as a meshwork. Overall, this work advances educator pedagogical inquiry research and provides possibilities for reimagining early childhood practices around inquiry, movement, and documentation.

The central theme of this paper is resources for early childhood education. The paper highlights issues such as purpose and benefits of ECE. It also discusses human, material and financial resources and gives detailed instructional resources for effective teaching at this level of education. The benefits of E.C.E. are that there is a positive relationship between E.C.E life performances of the recipient of this level of education. Good. ECE inculcates the spirit of enquiry and creativity through exploration of nature and the local environment. It teaches them cooperation, team spirit and good habit. It also prepares them for primary education. The study also examined the importance of play, things to look for in preschool curriculum which are human resources, materials and finance. Quality support system should include educational training for programme personnel as well as ongoing technical assistance programme providers and individual care provider. Personnel who are well prepare through education, training and support are essential to achieving high quality.

Early childhood education is one of the efforts made by the government to start education in the early stages of child development. Through a psychological and educational approach, educators in early childhood must have the characters and competencies that have been implemented by the government in Government Regulation No.27 of 1990 Article 14 Paragraphs (1) and (2). This is a literature research which gathers theories dealing with early childhood educators referring to the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad SAW which is summarized in the terms of Prophetic Parenting. The results of the study are presented in the form of important points for person who is dedicated to becoming an early childhood educator. These points are some forms of character that must be owned by early childhood educators based on several Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. The characteristics of the educator who wants to succeedin his field are not in a hurry, gentle, compassionate, tolerant, not easy to get angry, proportionate and able to give advice. The results of this study are expected to be used by the head of PAUD to create the characters of early childhood educators in accordance with the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. Keywords: Prophetic Parenting, Character, Early Childhood Educator

The context of this proposed chapter attempts to approach the concept of “digital pedagogy” focused on particular educational conditions of preschool education. It attempts to support the compelling reasons that require broadening the scope of the theory of “digital pedagogy” in early childhood education. It looks forward to the articulation of traditional pedagogical theories in conjunction with the fundamental principles of “digital pedagogy”, elaborates further risks and suggests possible limitations, and highlights a deliberation associated with digital pedagogy from the perspective of early childhood education. It describes a framework for implementing digital pedagogies in order to exploit the professional development of early childhood educator.

This major research paper presents findings from a critical qualitative inquiry study, that includes how seven registered early childhood educators (RECEs) understand care, carework and care practices in early childhood education and care (ECEC). The study used a political economy of care theoretical framework. Findings suggest that RECEs feel: (1) their carework is devalued; (2) care and education activities are different; and (3) there are barriers to caring well in ECEC programs. This paper provides recommendations that can potentially assert the value of care in the ECEC sector and aims to modestly give a voice to the marginalized perspectives of RECEs on the value of their carework in ECEC programs. Bullying is social behaviour that commonly happened in educational environment. Bullying involves student as the actor, victim, and bystander. This behaviour stimulates various negative impacts not only for victim but also the actor. When bullying happens in early childhood education, educator plays essential role to recognise, identify, and prevent it. The present study aims to elaborate the important of educator role in preventing bullying that may occur in early childhood education. The present study uses literature review in order to gain information that are related to bullying in early childhood education. moreover, the present study also conducts interview with various educators to gain valid data regarding this behaviour. The present study shows that educators recognise violent acts that are conducted by their student but unfortunately they are not able to identify whether those actions can be determined as bullying toward early childhood children. Moreover, this violent action is a stimulus which can lead a children in conducting juvenile delinquency in the near future for the actor. Therefore, early childhood educator holds essential role in preventing bullying acts for early childhood children in order to prevent this behaviour becomes a habit.
