Internet of things IoT systems have become one of the most promising technologies in all fields. Data transmission is one of the important aspects, and the tendency to messaging protocols is an important aspect of IoT systems. One of these most important protocols is MQTT. This protocol depends on the Publish/Subscribe model, and it is a lightweight protocol. Reliability, simplicity, quality of service levels, and being Resource-constrained make MQTT common in the IoT industry. This paper designed an IoT device that consists of the sensor MLX 90614 non-contact IR Temperature connected to a development board (Node MCU ESP8266). A person's temperature is one of the important vital signs. This system measures human temperature values and transmits the measured values to the Mosquitto broker by using the MQTT protocol in real-time. The technology used is Wi-Fi. The person or the doctor can read the patient’s temperature remotely through a program (Flutter Android Client) representing the subscriber. Also, MQTT protocol control packets of the system were analyzed using Wireshark. The three levels of QoS were used in subscriber clients to compare the throughput. The results indicate that QoS2 is more reliable and offers more throughput but more delay. The results also show that the average round trip time (RTT) of the MQTT protocol is five milliseconds which means optimal performance for IoT applications.

In 2017, a free Wi-Fi network, called MT_FREE, was launched in the St. Petersburg metro. Over the years, free Wi-Fi has become an integral part of the St. Petersburg metro, undoubtedly increasing the level of passenger comfort. In many ways, this is also an image project for our city, the experience of which many companies consider as a guideline, including those from other countries. For this reason, we would like to summarize and evaluate the quality of service the MT_FREE network provides. Research subject. In this article, we present the results of a performance evaluation study of the Wi-Fi network in the St. Petersburg metro. Method. To achieve this goal, the following methods of empirical research were used: measurement, experiment, and survey. Core results. In the first part of the study, experimental data on measuring the throughput and round-trip time of the MT_FREE network in the St. Petersburg metro are provided. The second part of the study is devoted to the results of an online survey conducted among SPbSUT students regarding the demand for Wi-Fi in the metro and user satisfaction with the operation of this network. Practical relevance. The obtained results can be used for optimization of the Wi-Fi network in the St. Petersburg metro.

Congestion is an important issue in the research of end-to-end congestion control. The congestion issue in transmission with TCP is studied. Under the situation of different round trip time and multiple congested gateways, ECC (Explicit Congestion Control) algorithm is proposed to solve the congestion problem of TCP. The basic idea is to explicitly improve Congestion by adding mechanism at both end systems and gateways. Then study the tile congestion of Internet data transmission. Internet data transmission relies on end system mechanisms to keep Congestion. As the number of the users has been very large, this scheme has become vulnerable. It is required to deploy some congestion mechanism at gateways.
