A list of 13 species of the family Scythrididae collected during 29.IV.– 04.V.2000 in Tunisia is presented. Two new species are described: Scythris kefensis sp. n. and S. spectatorella sp. n.. Both of them are small, dark moths belonging to the subfasciata species-group. S. aciella Bengtsson, 1997 and S. azrouensis Bengtsson, 1997 are recorded for the first time from Tunisia. Further notes on these and some other taxa are given.

The genus Pholcus Walckenaer, 1805 is reported from Pakistan for the first time. Two new species of the Pholcus nenjukovi species-group are described: Pholcus hamuchal Yao & Li sp. nov. (Gilgit Baltistan, male and female) and Pholcus kalam Yao & Li sp. nov. (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, male and female). Type material is deposited in the Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IZCAS) in Beijing, China.

Two new species of the genus Olophrum Erichson, 1839 of the laxum group are described and illustrated: O. lama Shavrin, sp.n. (Nepal: Rolwaling Himal) and O. schuelkei Shavrin, sp.n. (China: Shaanxi). Olophrum laxum Shavrin & Smetana, 2017 from Yunnan and O. pacei Shavrin & Smetana, 2017 from Shaanxi and Hubei provinces of China are recorded for the first time. A modified key of the laxum group is provided.

The family Tenuipalpidae from Greece is revised and keys to the Greek species of the gene­ra Aegyptobia, Brevipalpus, Cenopalpus, Pentamerismus and Tenuipalpus are provided. A key to the Greek tenuipalpid genera is also given. The species: Aegyptobia leiahensis, Phytoptipaipusparadoxus, Brevipalpus recki, Pentamerismus coronatus, P. juniperi, P. o­regonensis, Pseudoleptus zelihae, Dolichotetranychus floridanus, Raoiella macfarlanei and Obdulia tamaricis are recorded for the first time. Two new species Aegyptobia karys­tensis and Aegyptobia aliartensis are described and illustrated. Hosts, distributional data and relation to hosts are presented for each species. A revaluation of the world genera and subgenera of the Tenuipalpidae is presented.

Mites of the family Athyreacaridae are recorded from Asia for the first time. Two new species of Athyreacarus are described, A. indicus sp. nov., collected on the beetles Bolbohamatum laevicolle and B. marginale in India, and A. brevisetosus sp. nov., collected on a beetle Bolboceras sp. in Sri Lanka. An updated key to species of the genus Athyreacarus is provided.

Two new species of the genus Agrisius Walker, 1855, A. orhanti Volynkin, Dubatolov & Kishida, sp. n. and A. leloii Volynkin, Dubatolov & Kishida, sp. n. are described from South Laos and Vietnam respectively. A. orhanti sp. n. belongs to the A. japonicus Leech, 1889 species-group. Whereas, the male genitalia structure of A. leloii sp. n. is intermediate between those of the A. japonicus and the A. guttivitta Walker, 1855 species-groups, therefore, it is assigned to a separated species-group (the A. leloii species-group). Agrisius dubatolovi Orhant, 2012 is downgraded as a subspecies of A. japonicus: Agrisius japonicus dubatolovi Orhant, 2012, stat. nov. Female genitalia of species of the A. japonicus and most of the A. guttivitta species-groups are illustrated for the first time.

Two new species of oribatid mites of the family Oppiidae collected from leaf litter in Madagascar are described. Ramuselloppia indistincta sp. nov. differs from Ramuselloppia anomala by larger body size, the presence of epimeral tubercles  and comparatively long lamellar, interlamellar and notogastral setae and the absence of costulae and heads of bothridial setae. An identification key to known species of Ramuselloppia is provided. Lanceoppia (Baioppia) rugosa sp. nov. differs from all species of the subgenus by heavily rugose posterior part of the notogaster. The genus Ramuselloppia and subgenus Lanceoppia (Baioppia) are recorded in the Ethiopian region for the first time; the species Multioppia (Hammeroppia) wilsoni is recorded in Madagascar for the first time.

The family Lygistorrhinidae is recorded for the first time in Mexico, based on adult morphological descriptions of two new species of the genus Lygistorrhina Skuse: L. (Probolaeus) alexi sp. nov. and L. (P.) borkenti sp. nov. A third species belonging to L. (Lygistorrhina) sp. was found, but it remains undescribed due to scarcity of specimens. This paper focuses on Diplolaimella and Diplolaimelloides two very cosmopolitan genera inhabiting lotic freshwater to salty water inland, groundwater and coastal waters systems, providing a review of their taxonomy with new keys, and their distribution on the east coast of Patagonia and inland Patagonia. Two new species belonging to the genus Diplolaimelloides of the family Monhysteridae are described from Patagonian salty lagoons and coastal areas, and the Chubut and Santa Cruz provinces of Argentina: Diplolaimelloides tehuelchus sp. nov. has four bursal and three postcloacal papillae, short gubernaculum, and spicules longer than 50 μm; it has been found in Patagonian salty lagoons and in high coastal salt marsh areas. Diplolaimelloides warwicki sp. nov. is characterized by the angular shape of the spicules and the long gubernaculum. Diplolaimella ocellata is recorded for the first time in Patagonian salty lagoons and new localities in coastal waters are recorded for Diplolaimella gerlachi Pastor de Ward, 1984.

Two new species of the family Pontellidae, Labidocera kaimanaensis and Pontella papuaensis, are described and illustrated from specimens collected in Arguni Bay, West Papua, Indonesia. L. kaimanaensis belongs to the L. detruncata species-group, is distinguishable from other species of this group by the very elongated Ur1 (urosomite 1) and the asymmetrical P5 in the female and the Pdg5 (pediger 5) and P5 in the male. P. papuaensis does not belong to any of the known five groups of Indo-West Pacific Pontella, in having Ur1 with a beak-like posterodorsal process and almost symmetrical Re’s (exopods) of P5 in the female, a rostrum with double convex lenses, the chela of the right P5 with a bilobed thumb, and the inner margin of that chela armed with a large process, in the male. The establishment of four new species-sub-groups of L. detruncata, i.e., L. d.-cervi, L. d.-farrani, L. d.-kaimanaensis, and L. d.-sinilobata, as well as the establishment of a P. papuaensis species-group, are proposed.

Two new species belonging to the genus Rafapicobia Skoracki, 2011 (Syringophilidae: Picobiinae) collected from birdsof the family Dendrocolaptidae are described: 1) Rafapicobia dendrocolaptesi sp. nov. from Dendrocolaptes platyrostrisSpix (type host) in Paraguay and from D. picumnus Lichtenstein in Argentina; 2) Rafapicobia lepidocolaptesi sp. nov.from Lepidocolaptes affinis (Lafresnaye) (type host) in Ecuador and Venezuela and from L. souleyetii (Des Murs) in Colombia. Syringophilid mites are recorded from woodcreepers for the first time.
