Every land holds classes or level way that are different from each other. Lands or physical environment is consist of relief, climate, land, vegetation and water and all above her during influence of land us. This study attemppts to aware of information the village class land ability Sumberejo Poncokusumo Malang in the form of geographical information system (Map). In order to know class ability sumberejo poncokusumo malang. Village land for research equipment used GPS, Covering the Compass, Map satellite (RBI), clinometer, a ruler, stationery, writting, camera and computters(to data processing). The kind of research this is descriptive kualitatif, research the class data the land done with observation directly in proceed with, recording classification and a categorization directly from the field to be supported by land, map data The land mapping by recording the GPS coordinates of  GPS (Global Positioning System) in the village land sumberejo poncokusumo malang. The object of the research is geospatial data the spatial data map RBI sumberejo poncokusumo malang village area. Subject to the research is an unfortunate sumberejo village poncokusumo malang land. In general the village land sumberejo have characteristic land both in terms of texture slope the, the depth of effective drainage and erosion. The result indicate that the ability of land in the study areas consisting of class II and II. Keywords: classification land, mapping, geospatial, map (RBI), Sumberejo village Land ABSTRAK Setiap lahan memiliki kelas atau tingkat kemampuannya yang berbeda-beda antara satu sama lainnya. Lahan atau lingkungan fisik ini terdidri atas relief, iklim, tanah, vegetasi dan air serta segala yang berada di atasnya selama mempengaruhi penggunaan lahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui informasi kelas kemampuan lahan desa Sumberejo Poncokusumo Malang dalam bentuk sistem informasi geografis (Peta). Sehingga dapat diketahui kelas kemampuan lahan desa Sumberejo Poncokusumo Malang. Selama penelitian peralatan yang digunakan meliputi GPS , kompas, Peta Satelit (RBI), Klinometer, Penggaris, alat tulis menulis, kamera, dan Perangkat Komputer/ Laptop (untuk pengolahan data). Jenis Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, perolehan data kelas kemampuan lahan dilakukan dengan pengamatan secara langsung yang dilanjutkan dengan pencatatan, klasifikasi dan kategorisasi secara langsung dari lapangan didukung dengan data peta lahan, survei pemetaan lahan dengan merekam titik koordinat dari GPS (Global Positioning System) di wilayah kawasan lahan desa sumberejo poncokusumo malang. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah data geospasial, yaitu data spasial peta RBI daerah desa Sumberejo Poncokusumo Malang. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah Lahan desa Sumberejo Poncokusumo Malang. Secara umum, kemampuan lahan desa Sumberejo  mempunyai karakteristik lahan yang baik dari segi tekstur, kemiringan lereng, kedalaman efektif, drainase dan erosi.  Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa penentuan kemampuan lahan di daerah penelitian yang  terdiri atas kelas II dan III. This paper presents the research for the development of a new travel aid to increase the independent mobility of blind and elderly travellers. This aid will build on the technologies of geographical information systems (GIS) and the Global Positioning System (GPS). The MOBIC Travel Aid (MOTA) consists of two interrelated components: the MOBIC Pre-journey System (MOPS) to assist users in planning journeys and the MOBIC Outdoor System (MOODS) to execute these plans by providing users with orientation and navigation assistance during journeys. The MOBIC travel aid is complementary to primary mobility aids such as the long cane or guide dog. Results of a study of user requirements are presented and their implications for the initial design of the system are discussed.

Technical development of Global Positioning System (GPS) is the positional determination system of ground control point in the earth surface, which based on satellite. It leads to the significant influence on the methodological aspect of positional determination survey in the earth surface. Global Positioning System gives the three dimension position (X, K Z) or longitudinal, latitude and altitude which are formulated in the reference of World Geodetic System (WGS) in 1984. The data characteristic is the first data, which is required in the survey of limit mapping of historical and archeological site. This article tries to explain the possibility of using the technology of Global Positioning System (GPS) to map the archeological site which contains of potential, ohstacle, methodology and case study in Boko Prambanan temple area. It is also utilized to the possibility of using the Geographical Information System (GIS) to analyze the spatial existence site of environmental condition.

Urban spatial data is the source of information in analysing risks due to natural disaster, evacuation planning, risk mapping and assessments, etc. Global positioning system (GPS) is a satellite-based technology that is used to navigate on earth. Geographical information system (GIS) is a software system that facilitates software services to mankind in various application domains such as agriculture, ecology, forestry, geomorphology analysis in earthquake and landslides, laying of underground water pipe connection and demographic studies like population migration, urban settlements, etc. Thus, spatial and temporal relations of real-time activities can be analysed to predict the future activities like predicting places of interest. Time analysis of such activities helps in personalisation of activities or development of recommendation systems, which could suggest places of interest. Thus, GPS mapping with data analytics using GIS would pave way for commercial and business development in large scale.

This paper presents research and development work on a novel system with a view of developing a navigation system for the guidance of visually impaired pedestrians. The prime aim of the new developed system is to enhance the mobility of visually impaired pedestrians using remote guidance provided by sighted person. However, the system can be used in many other applications. The system implementation is based on the integration of the Global Positioning System (GPS), Geographical Information System (GIS) database and a remote vision facility over the third generation (3G) of mobile networks, providing a technological platform enabling visually impaired pedestrians to be guided remotely by a sighted guide.
