We present fixed points results of multivalued Prešić type k-step iterative mappings satisfying generalized weakly contraction conditions in metric spaces. An example is presented to support the main result proved herein. The stability of fixed point sets of multivalued Prešić type weakly contractive mappings are also established. Global attractivity result for the class of matrix difference equations is derived as application of the result presented herein. These results generalize and extend various comparable results in the existing literature.

The existence and iterative approximations of fixed points concerning two classes of integral-type multivalued contractive mappings in complete metric spaces are proved, and the stability of fixed point sets relative to these multivalued contractive mappings is established. The results obtained in this article generalize and improve some known results in the literature. An illustrative example is given.

In this paper, we introduce the concept of extended partial b-metric space. We demonstrate a fundamental lemma for the convergence of sequences in such spaces. Then we prove some fixed point results for weakly contractive mappings in the setup of ordered extended partial b-metric spaces. An example is given to verify the effectiveness and applicability of our main results. An application of these results to Volterra-type integral equations is provided at the end.

The aim of this paper is to present some coincidence and common fixed point results for generalized (ψ,φ)-contractive mappings using partially weaklyG-α-admissibility in the setup ofG-metric space. As an application of our results, periodic points of weakly contractive mappings are obtained. We also derive certain new coincidence point and common fixed point theorems in partially orderedG-metric spaces. Moreover, some examples are provided here to illustrate the usability of the obtained results.

We obtain sufficient conditions for the existence of unique common fixed point of (ψ−ϕ)-weakly contractive mappings on complete rectangular metric spaces. In the process, we generalize several fixed point results from the literature. We also give an example to illustrate our work.

In this paper, we introduce a new class of generalized weakly contractive mappings and prove common fixed point results by using different algorithms involving this new class of mappings in the framework of b -metric spaces, which generalize the results of Cho. We also provide two examples to show the applicability and validity of our results. As an application of our result, we obtain a solution to an integral equation. Our results extend and improve several comparable results in the existing literature.
