Abstract In this paper, we introduced the concept of derivation on equality algebra E by using the notions of inner and outer derivations. Then we investigated some properties of (inner, outer) derivation and we introduced some suitable conditions that they help us to define a derivation on E. We introduced kernel and fixed point sets of derivation on E and prove that under which condition they are filters of E. Finally we prove that the equivalence relations on (E,⇝, 1) coincide with the equivalence relations on E with derivation d.(2010) MSC: 03G25, 06B10, 06B99.

In this paper, we presented some new weaker conditions on the Proinov-type contractions which guarantees that a self-mapping T has a unique fixed point in terms of rational forms. Our main results improved the conclusions provided by Andreea Fulga (On (ψ,φ)−Rational Contractions) in which the continuity assumption can either be reduced to orbital continuity, k−continuity, continuity of Tk, T-orbital lower semi-continuity or even it can be removed. Meanwhile, the assumption of monotonicity on auxiliary functions is also removed from our main results. Moreover, based on the obtained fixed point results and the property of symmetry, we propose several Proinov-type contractions for a pair of self-mappings (P,Q) which will ensure the existence of the unique common fixed point of a pair of self-mappings (P,Q). Finally, we obtained some results related to fixed figures such as fixed circles or fixed discs which are symmetrical under the effect of self mappings on metric spaces, we proposed some new types of (ψ,φ)c−rational contractions and obtained the corresponding fixed figure theorems on metric spaces. Several examples are provided to indicate the validity of the results presented.

For a tame supercuspidal representation π \pi of a connected reductive p p -adic group G G , we establish two distinct and complementary sufficient conditions, formulated in terms of the geometry of the Bruhat–Tits building of G G , for the irreducible components of its restriction to a maximal compact subgroup to occur in a representation of G G which is not inertially equivalent to π \pi . The consequence is a set of broadly applicable tools for addressing the branching rules of π \pi and the unicity of [ G , π ] G [G,\pi ]_G -types.

Abstract We observe some suitable examples of Calabi-Yau threefolds for heterotic superstring compactifications. It is reasonable to seek CY threefolds with Euler characteristic equals ±6 because of generation’s number. Hosotani mechanism for violations of the gauge group by the Wilson loops requires such CY space has a non-trivial fundamental group. These spaces can be obtained by factoring the complete intersection Calabi-Yau spaces by the free action of some discrete group. Also we shortly discuss cases when discrete groups act with fixed point sets.

The existence and iterative approximations of fixed points concerning two classes of integral-type multivalued contractive mappings in complete metric spaces are proved, and the stability of fixed point sets relative to these multivalued contractive mappings is established. The results obtained in this article generalize and improve some known results in the literature. An illustrative example is given.

AbstractWe use techniques originating from the subdiscipline of mathematical logic called ‘proof mining’ to provide rates of metastability and—under a metric regularity assumption—rates of convergence for a subgradient-type algorithm solving the equilibrium problem in convex optimization over fixed-point sets of firmly nonexpansive mappings. The algorithm is due to H. Iiduka and I. Yamada who in 2009 gave a noneffective proof of its convergence. This case study illustrates the applicability of the logic-based abstract quantitative analysis of general forms of Fejér monotonicity as given by the second author in previous papers.

Given a digital image (or digital object) (X,k),X⊂Zn, this paper initially establishes a group structure of the set of self-k-isomorphisms of (X,k) with the function composition, denoted by Isok(X) or Autk(X). In particular, let Ckn,l be a simple closed k-curve with l elements in Zn. Then, the group Isok(Ckn,l) is proved to be isomorphic to the standard dihedral group Dl with order l. The calculation of this quantity Isok(Ckn,l) is a key step for obtaining many new results. Indeed, it is essential for exploring many features of Isok(X). Furthermore, this quantity is proved to be a digital topological invariant. After proceeding with an Isok(X)-action on (X,k), we investigate some properties of fixed point sets by this action. Finally, we explore various features of fixed point sets by this action from the viewpoint of digital k-curve theory. This paper only deals with k-connected digital images (X,k) whose cardinality is equal to or greater than 2. Besides, we discuss some errors that have appeared in the lilterature.

The existence of fixed points and, in particular, coupled fixed points is investigated for multivalued contractions in complete metric spaces. Multivalued coupled fractals are furthermore explored as coupled fixed points of certain induced operators in hyperspaces, i.e. as coupled compact subsets of the original spaces. The structure of fixed point sets is considered in terms of absolute retracts. We also formulate a continuation principle for multivalued contractions as a nonlinear alternative based on the topological essentiality. Two illustrative examples about coupled multivalued fractals are supplied.
