This article describes the design of complete removable prostheses following the Slavicek philosophy, which involves the integration between condylographic data and an individual cephalometric study of the patient. The electronic condylograph is a device that records the mandibular movements made by the patient. This case report shows how condylography data are useful not only in the individual articulator setting, but also for diagnostic completion and for planning a functional prosthetic rehabilitation.

Background: Each organ serves a specific function in the human body. Congenital absence or loss of even minor parts of it can pose extreme psychological trauma in addition to the functional impairment and esthetic issues encountered by the individual. Amputation of complete or a part of phalange of hand is frequently encountered either due to trauma or necrosis. Restoration of such defects become mandatory to improve general form and function combined with the esthetic requirements of the patient. It can either be done by microvascular reconstruction or prosthetic rehabilitation. The latter becomes the means of choice in cases where the former is either not possible, unavailable, unsuccessful, or unaffordable. Case Report: A case report has been presented of a 60 years old patient with an old traumatic partially amputated index finger. Treatment Plan: A custom-made glove-type prosthesis was fabricated using silicone elastomer. Conclusion: A ring is provided for better esthetics and special adhesive is recommended for retention of the prosthesis.

Treatment of patients with malignant tumor of oropharyngeal region is a difficult problem due to the last detection of diseases and complex anatomic structure, despite the emergence new and improvement methods of the treatment of cancer of oropharyngeal region. Complex rehabilitation of this patients presents great difficulties due to the disturbance of breath, swallowing, speech, and the lack of a single methodological approach to treatment. It is needs to improve the effectiveness of prosthetic care for patients with malignant tumor of oropharyngeal region.

Background: COVID-19 is a newly emerging infectious disease which is found to be caused by SARS-2. COVID-19 pandemic has spread worldwide causing a rapidly increasing number of mental disorders cases, primarily anxiety disorder. Since majority of panic disorder patients are present with great anxiety in response to their physical or respiratory symptoms, support and encouragement from psychiatrist or therapist are fundamental to alleviate the severity of the symptoms. Case Report: We reported a case of COVID-19 induced panic disorder in a woman, 52 years old, batak tribe who started to experience multiple panic attacks since one of her family members was confirmed to be Covid-10 positive. Conclusion: In general, panic disorder is a common diagnosis, but this case appeared to be interesting as it is induced by COVID-19 pandemic. As in this case, the individual who experienced multiple panic attack is not even a COVID-19 patient but has one of her family member affected by the virus. A wide body of evidence has shown that this pandemic massively contributes to worsening of psychosocial burden in nationwide.

SummaryBackground/Aim: Congenital defects such as cleft palate and lips require a long-lasting and multidisciplinary approach. In cases when surgical and orthodontic treatment is not feasible, prosthodontic management of these patients is advocated. Prosthetic rehabilitation of cleft palate in concerning of achieving aesthetic and function (such as swallowing and speech) outcomes is very demanding.Case report: Material and method: After performing the necessary surgical procedures and orthodontic treatment, 24-years-old male patient was sent to the Department for Maxillofacial Prosthetics of Istanbul University. Followed the clinical examination, the necessary periodontal and conservative therapy was performed. After radiographic evaluation and dental cast analysis prosthetic rehabilitation was performed. The prosthetic rehabilitation of cleft palate was accomplish with conventional fixed partial denture whose number of included abutment were defined by biomechanical principles. Additionally removable partial denture were manufactured for closing oro-nasal defects and lip supporting. Conclusions: The prosthetic rehabilitation resulted with functionally and aesthetically content prosthesis. With achieving proper swallowing Quality of Life of the patient was enormously enhanced.

ABSTRACT Scope of work The purpose of this work is the analysis and comparison of the various methods available for the realization of fixed restorations on natural teeth in the anterior sector with the presentation of some case report series. Materials and methods The methods used in relation to the clinical case, are the metal-ceramic, the galvan-ceramic, all- ceramic and porcelain veneers. Results It highlights indications and limitations of each of the methods proposed, emphasizing the prominent role of esthetics in the rehabilitation sector of the front. Conclusion The materials and techniques available, with proper clinical evaluation and to a timely therapeutic planning, are the basis of the rehabilitative ideal choice for each individual case, and they also depend on the achievement of clinical success.
