Corona virus disease was declared as pandemic in 2020. The second wave of covid 19 in India was completely influenced by the fatal complication of covid 19 called Mucormycosis. It was declared as an epidemic in India after 2 wave. The use of Corticosteroids in the management of covid 19 and uncontrolled diabetes mellitus with other systemic illness has shown tremendous immunosuppression which has ultimately caused Mucormycosis. Mucormycosis is rare in mandible. We are presenting a case report with brief discussion of 9 patients having post covid Mucormycosis along with osteomyelitis of the mandible, the rarest form of the post covid infection, which was managed surgically as well as with adjuvant antibacterial and antifungal drugs followed by post-operative prosthetic rehabilitation. This fatal infection has to be kept in mind in covid 19 active cases as well as in recovered patients, especially in those having comorbidities and judicious use of cortico-steroids should be recommended.

Successful prosthetic rehabilitation is essential to improve the physical and mental outcomes of people with lower-limb amputation. Evaluation of prosthetic services from a prosthesis user perspective have been published and commissioned by the national bodies, however, the perspectives of clinicians working with service users during rehabilitation have not to date been sought. We sought to determine factors impacting lower-limb prosthetic rehabilitation from a clinician's perspective to inform studies focusing on prosthetic and socket design and fitting. Six clinician (2 prosthetists, 4 physiotherapists) interviewees were self-selected from a survey exploring issues and frustrations during lower-limb prosthetic rehabilitation. Semi-structured interviews explored the impactors on and frustrations with rehabilitation and the prosthetic socket. A thematic analysis was subsequently conducted to identify themes in the responses. Five themes were identified: Service Disparity, Body Impactors, Consequences of Ill-Fit, Prosthesis Irritants, and Limitations of Practice. Each theme, though distinct, relates to the others either as a cause or consequence and should be viewed as such. Addressing the themes will have benefits beyond the issues addressed but also expand into the other themes. This study provides an insight into the clinician perspectives on lower-limb prosthetic rehabilitation, which has not been formally documented to date.

Hypodontia can have an impact on speech, aesthetics, function and psycho-social behavior of individuals afflicted by the problem. Rehabilitation of patients with hypodontia usually requires complex treatment planning, depending upon the pattern of tooth absence, amount of residual spacing, presence of malocclusion and patient compliance. It is an interdisciplinary intervention, involving prosthodontists, orthodontists, oral surgeons, speech pathologists and psychologists to achieve an optimal outcome for the patient. This case report describes the close work of a committed team from orthodontic, oral surgery and prosthodontic department of de'Montmorency College of Dentistry, Lahore, to reach final aesthetic and functional outcomes for an 18 year old girl with oligodontia. Her chief complaint was poor esthetics and absence of multiple anterior teeth with unsightly spacing between remaining teeth. Orthodontic redistribution of spaces followed by fixed full arch prosthetic rehabilitation were the goals achieved at the end of her treatment. KEYWORDS: Oligodontia, interdisciplinary team work, prosthodontic rehabilitation, fixed restorations.
