The results of testing the network coding protocol NCDP for a diamond topology network are presented. The structure of the diamond topology network is considered and a comparison of simple serial transmission with transmission by network coding method is made. The NCDP header structure for data packets and control packets is defined. A virtual laboratory testbed for studying the operation of the protocol is proposed and a comparison of the NCDP protocol with simple sequential data transmission by the average delivery time of a group of packets is performed.

To address the problems in Opportunistic Networks that nodes employing routing algorithms based on epidemic mechanism cant sense their neighboring nodes timely and many redundant data packets permeate through the network, an efficient routing algorithm based on XOR network coding was proposed (Xor Network Coding based Epidemic Routing, XNCER). When a node gets a Hello message, it broadcasts, instead of unicasting, a SV(Summary Vector) packet, in return, to all its neighboring nodes. Therefore, the data transmission can be initiated immediately, and the XOR network coding can also be leveraged so as to enhance the efficiency of data transmission. Moreover, the packets destined to the one hop neighboring nodes obtain the priority in transmission, and are determined whether to be deleted based on the ACK mechanism running in the MAC layer in order to cut down the memory overhead and restrain redundant packets from dissemination. Theoretical analysis and extensive simulation results show that the new algorithm obtains an overall improvement in terms of network overhead, average end-to-end delay as well as delivery rate. The novel algorithm can effectively solve the problems of sensing neighboring nodes and data redundancy.

Research subject. The paper presents the concept of a multicast session protocol based on the net-work coding method. Method. Development of a data transfer protocol based on the analysis of existing principles and models of network coding. Core results. The proposed NCDP multicast protocol is de-signed to work over a datagram transport protocol. The basic structure of the NCDP packet header has been developed, taking into account the variability of the protocols used in conjunction with NCDP. Prac-tical relevance. The proposed protocol is intended for use in content delivery systems based on mul-ticast data transmission from several sources.

<pre>The smart building (SB), a promising solution to the fast-paced and continuous urbanization around the world, is an integration of a wide range of systems and services and involves a construction of multiple layers. The SB is capable of sensing, acquiring and processing a tremendous amount of data as well as performing proper action and adaptation accordingly. With rapid increases in the number of connected nodes and thereby the data transmission demand in SBs, conventional transmission and processing techniques are insufficient to provide satisfactory services. To enhance the intelligence of SBs and achieve efficient monitoring and control, both indoor visible light communications (VLC) and machine learning (ML) shall be applied jointly to construct a reliable data transmission network with powerful data processing and reasoning abilities. In this regard, we envision an SB framework enabled by indoor VLC and ML in this article.</pre>

The emerging development in smart vehicles has improved transportation seamlessly. This paper deals with incorporating the modern technologies like Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things(IoT) with the traditional transportation system. It states how AI algorithms can be integrated with IoT powered vehicles to manage and avoid crashing with idle vehicles on a speedway and assists for safer driving using the traffic symbol analysis to reduce accidents. Several communication standards for data transmission between the vehicle and control system has been stated. It also provides additional features like emergency or assistance for vehicles in speedway. It uses complex learning and analysis algorithms to improve the efficiency of driving and reduce rear-end collisions. This paper hence gives a comprehensive survey of the enabling technologies, protocols, and architecture for IoT powered transport.
