Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang kinetika fotodegradasi remazol yellow dengan menggunakan zeolit A terimpregnasi TiO2. Jumlah TiO2 divariasikan dalam perbandingan berat zeolit A : TiO2 sebesar 1:0.4, 1:0.6, 1:0.8, 1:1, 1:1.2, dan 1:1,4 g/g. Eksperimen kinetika dilakukan melalui penentuan konsentrasi remazol yellow yang tersisa setelah interaksi zeolit A : TiO2 dengan larutan remazol yellow yang disinari UV pada waktu 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, dan 90 menit. Selanjutnya data dianalisis mengikuti model kinetika reaksi orde-1. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa semakin tinggi jumlah TiO2 dalam material  zeolit A : TiO2 maka semakin kecil laju fotodegradasi. Perbandingan berat 1:0,4 menghasilkan laju fotodegradasi paling besar dengan konstanta laju sebesar 0,0184 menit-1.A research on photodegradation kinetics of remazol yellow using TiO2-impregnated A-type zeolite has been done. The amount of TiO2 was varied in weight ratio of zeolite A : TiO2 which were 1:0.4, 1:0.6, 1:0.8, 1:1, 1:1.2, and 1:1.4 g/g. Kinetics experiment was performed by determining the concentration of remazol yellow remained after the interaction of zeolite A : TiO2 with remazol yellow solution that is illuminated by UV-light at 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 and 90 minutes. Data obtained was analyzed using first-order reaction kinetics model. The results showed that the higher the amount of TiO2 in the mixture of zeolite A : TiO2 material, the smaller the rate of photodegradation. The weight ratio of 1:0.4 produced the greatest rate of photodegradation with rate constant of 0.0184 min­­­­-1.

A new photochromic diarylethene compound 1-(2-cyan-3-phenyl)-2-[5-(4-cyanobenzene) -2-methyl-3-thienyl] perfluorocyclopentene was synthesized. And their properties inculding photochromis, fluorescence in both hexane and solid films, reaction kinetics of cyclization and cycloreversion were studied. And its absorption maxima were observed at 539 nm in hexane and at 552 nm in PMMA films, respectively, upon irradiation with 313 nm UV light. The fluorescence intensity of diarylethene decreased upon irradiation with 313 nm UV light. Besides, the cyclization and cycloreversion processes of the compound were determined to be the zeroth and first order reaction by UV-Vis spectra, respectively.

An unsymmetrical photochromic diarylethene 1-(2-trifluoromethylphenyl)-2-[2-methyl-5-(3-N,N-dimethylphenyl)-3-thienyperfluorocyclopentene (1a) was synthesized and its photochromism, fluorescent properties and reaction kinetics of cyclization and cycloreversion were studied in detail. The compound exhibited remarkable photochromism and its absorption maxima were observed at 552 nm in hexane and at 569 nm in PMMA films upon irradiation with 297 nm UV light. The fluorescence intensity of diarylethene decreased upon irradiation with 297 nm UV light. In addiation, reaction kinetics of the cyclization and cycloreversion processes of the compound were determined to be the zeroth and first order reaction by UV-Vis spectra, respectively.

A new unsymmetrical photochromic diarylethene compound, 1-(2-Methyl-3-benzothiophene)-2-(5-(4-ethynyl)-2-methylthiophen-3-yl)Perfluorocyclopentene (1o),was synthesized and its photochemical, fluorescence properties were investigated systematically both in solution and PMMA amorphous film. The results showed that this compound exhibited reversible photochromism, changing from colorless to pink after irradiation with 297 nm UV light both in solution and in PMMA amorphous film. The photochromic reaction kinetics indicated that the cyclization processes of 1 belong to the zeroth order reaction and the cycloreversion process belong to the first order reaction.

A new photochromic compound 1-[2,5-dimethyl-3-thienyl]-2-[2-methyl-5-pyridine-3-yl-3-thieyl] perfluoroyclopentene(1a) was synthesized, its photochromic properties were examined, the result indicated that the color of the compound 1a changed from colorless to a purple one upon irradiation with 297 nm UV light, a new absorption maxima were observed at 549 and 553 nm in hexane and PMMA film, respectively. The the photochromic reaction kinetics indicated that the cyclization processes of 1 belong to the zeroth order reaction and the cycloreversion process belong to the first order reaction.This new photochromic system also exhibited remarkable optical storage character.

Based on the hydration kinetics of the cement matrix material, the paper presents a chemical analysis method by means of analyzing the contents of Ca(OH)2 in cement matrix material. The kinetics constant for the cement, ash fly in the residues system solidified by recycled cement, ash fly was determined at different temperature. The hydration kinetics characteristic of the residues system after being hydrated 7 days is first order reaction.

A new unsymmetrical photochromic diarylethene compound, 1-(2-methyl-3-benzothiophene)-2-[2-methyl-5-(4-aminomethanephenyl)-3-thienyperfluorocyclopentene (1a) was synthesized, its photochromic properties were examined, the result indicated that the Diarylethene 1a changed the color from colorless to purple upon irradiation with 297 nm UV light, in which absorption maxima were observed at 564 in acetonitrile. The photochromic reaction kinetics indicated that the cyclization processes of 1a belong to the zeroth order reaction and the cycloreversion process belong to the first order reaction. This new photochromic system also exhibited fluorescence switching in acetonitrile solution.

The kinetics of the Belousov-Zhabotinsky (BZ) oscillatory reaction was analyzed. With this aim, the tune evolution of a reactionmixture composedof malonic acid, bromate, sulfuric acid and cerium(III) was studied at 298 K. Pseudo-first order kinetics with respect to malonic acid as the species undergoing decomposition with a corresponding rate constant, k = 7.5x10-3 min-1, was found.

The kinetics of transepithelial Mg secretion were studied in isolated perfused proximal tubule II of the flounder, Pseudopleuronectes americanus. To detect measurable changes of luminal [Mg] as a function of bath [Mg], the lumen had to be perfused at subnanoliter rates. Transepithelial Mg secretion did not obey first-order reaction kinetics; hence values for half saturation of transport (0.22 mM) and transport maximum (1.5 pmol X min-1 X mm-1) are apparent and suggest a high-affinity low-capacity transport system. Because all experiments were done in the absence of bath SO4, the independence of Mg transport from SO4 transport is established. In the absence of perfusion, when tubules secrete fluid spontaneously, secreted fluid contained Cl (156 +/- 3 mM), Na (130 +/- 6 mM), and Mg (27 +/- 5 mM), all significantly different from the bath. Rates of Cl, Na, and Mg secretion were all positively correlated with fluid secretion, but Na and Mg concentrations in secreted fluid were inversely proportional. The results indicate that NaCl secretion provides basal rates of fluid secretion, and when MgCl2 is secreted in addition, fluid secretion increases with the effect of generating inverse relationships between luminal Na and Mg concentrations.
