PENGARUH KEKUATAN DAN KEKERASAN BATUAN TERHADAP PRODUKTIVITAS SURFACE MINER DI PT. SEMEN BATURAJA (PERSERO) TBK

Surface Miner digunakan oleh SMBR untuk mengoptimalkan pengambilan material batugamping pada area-area yang berdekatan dengan pemukiman penduduk dimana kegiatan peledakan sudah dibatasi. Tujuan penelitian untuk melakukan klasifikasi nilai kekuatan dan kekerasan batugamping pada area kerja surface miner di SMBR, menganalisis pengaruh nilai kekuatan dan kekerasan batugamping terhadap produktivitas unit surface miner di SMBR, membandingkan biaya akibat pengaruh nilai kekuatan dan kekerasan terhadap penggunaan cutting tools, fuel, dan jam kerja surface miner pada area kerja surface miner.  Data primer terdiri dari data produktivitas alat surface miner, data penggunaan bahan bakar/fuel. Data sekunder terdiri dari data geoteknik khususnya data kekuatan batuan (UCS), data nilai kekerasan batuan, data pengujian kualitas kimia (SiO2) dan serta sifat fisik dan mekanik batugamping. Batugamping yang diamati memiliki sifat fisik dan mekanik serta kandungan silika pada batugamping tersebut. Sifat fisik batugamping berupa densitas batuan antara 1,79 gr/cm3 sd 2,53 gr/cm3, sifat mekanik berupa UCS antara 1,42 mpa sd 104,55 mpa, sedangkan kandungan silika antara 0,75 % sd 88,52 %.  Batugamping pada area kerja surface miner di klasifikasikan menjadi tiga berdasarkan data kekuatan dan kekerasan batuan, berupa zona batuan kuat sedang- keras, zona batuan tidak kuat – tidak keras, dan zona batuan sangat tidak kuat-tidak keras.

Microscope slides were homogeneously coated over a length of 2 cm with a mixture of soluble and fibrillar collagen and exposed at 37°C and under laminar flow to citrated whole rabbit blood at a flow-rate of 100 ml/min. Surface coverage with platelets (adhesion) and platelet accumulations higher than about 5 μm in height (aggregation) were determined by automated microdensitometry of fuchsine stained ‘en face’ preparations. The platelet mass per unit surface was measured with a modified Lowry technique whose sensitivity was equivalent to 5×l05platelets. Platelet number, amount of protein and surface coverage with platelet accumulations correlated. After a perfusion time of 10 min thrombi up to 30 μm in height and oriented in the direction of flow had developed on the collagen coated area. Surface coverage with platelets was 75% and the amount of deposited protein 1.4 μg/mm2(2×l06platelets/mm2). On the uncoated surface single platelets predominated; the surface coverage was 20% and the density of platelets 8×104/mm2. Acetyl- salicylic acid at 100 μm decreased platelet aggregation by about 80% without affecting adhesion.The new parallel plate perfusion system offers rapid quantitation of platelet-surface and platelet-platelet interaction after exposure to flowing blood and iftay also be diagnostically useful.

RS (residual stresses) represent the main role in the performance of structures and machined parts. The main objective of this paper is to investigate the effect of feed rate with constant cutting speed and depth of cut on residual stresses in orthogonal cutting, using Tungsten carbide cutting tools when machining AISI 316 in turning operation. AISI 316 stainless steel was selected in experiments since it is used in many important industries such as chemical, petrochemical industries, power generation, electrical engineering, food and beverage industry. Four feed rates were selected (0.228, 0.16, 0.08 and 0.065) mm/rev when cutting speed is constant 71 mm/min and depth of cutting 2 mm. The experimental results of residual stresses were (-15.75, 12.84, 64.9, 37.74) MPa and the numerical results of residual stresses were (-15, 12, 59, and 37) MPa. The best value of residual stresses is (-15.75 and -15) MPa when it is in a compressive way. The results showed that the percentage error between numerical by using (ABAQUS/ CAE ver. 2017) and experimental work measured by X-ray diffraction is range (2-15) %.
