Besides his art practice, Jan Dorman was creating an archive of his life and work, which is a comprehensive collection of various types of theatre and personal documentation. Like Tadeusz Kantor, he dreamed that the collected resources would continue to be used, entering the theatre and research circuit and thus creating a “living archive”. In 2016, Iwona Dowsilas, Dorman’s daughter and promoter of his archives, donated Jan Dorman’s collection to The Zbigniew Raszewski Theatre Institute in Warsaw, which contributed to a three-year project “Dorman. Open Archives” (2016–2019). It was based on the concept of performative archiving, in which archives cease to be a static collection, and can be set in motion and produce separate performances. The idea of performing archives was translated into a collaborative programme involving theoreticians and practitioners of the theatre, which resulted in the intersecting of four fields: issues of theatre documentation, history and theory of the theatre, theatre education and theatre practice. The current issue of Pamiętnik Teatralny is an outcome of annual research residencies (2018), which aimed to analyse selected areas of the previously unrecognized and little-known last decade of Dorman’s theatre practice (1977–1986).

Today, the human problem in social life concerning education is growing more complex; many new ideas emerge as the level of human intellectuality grows. This paper will reveal the current issue of education in Indonesia and discuss ideas from the concept of liberal education. The basic issue of education criticized by liberal education is that education today focuses more on the needs of society than the educational objectives themselves. Education as a tool to transfer science, values, and agents of social change is seen as one alternative solution in the framework of improving people's lives. The education in which values are embodied is one of the efforts offered by genuine liberal education, aimed at giving us the habits, ideas and techniques necessary to continue our own education. Humans have the ability to learn continuously throughout life so that we can prepare ourselves to study and again as long as we are alive.

This essay proposes to analyse the mechanisms of quarrels from a theoretical perspective largely informed by linguistics, and more specifically, by pragmatics. It connects with some of Jean-Jacques Lecercle's argument in the current issue, but takes the analysis in different directions. Looking at a number of examples of quarrels, this paper purports to identify the different participants and parameters in the development of a quarrel. These include speakers (authors), texts (more often than oral discourse), institutions that (might) adjudicate, an audience and rules, as well as material conditions under which disputes develop. These parameters provide a framework, rather than a rigid construction, within which speakers may change positions. Special attention is given to the beginnings of a quarrel (what counts as the start of a quarrel?) and to the ends of a quarrel (do they end, or simply cease to be of interest?). The essay concludes on the dynamic of quarrels, which precludes modellization.

Determining the influence of technological mode factors on machining accuracy is always an current issue in the production practice especially for grinding operations. This paper presents some research results to determine the effect of grinding parameters on grinding wheel’s wear and part’s accuracy in grinding profile for ball bearing's inner ring groove. From theoretical analysis and experimental results, the article assesses the influence of grinding mode factors on output factors. Based on that, the economic limitation wear of grinding wheel at three different grinding modes is determined.
