To describe the concept of moral education in the aforementiod books, content analysis was used to grasp the main messages of the books. The finding showed that the thoughts of K.H. Bisri Mustofa’s moral education were relevant with the development of character building proclaimed by the government. The relevancyecould be found in the foundational thinking about moral education contended by K.H. Bisri Mustofa and character education in Indonesia, encompassing the importance of humanism in social interaction, moral degradation among adolescents, and the erosion of Eastern culture by Western culture.  Relevance was also found in the five main character values that were prioritized in the implementation of the development of character building in which each value is relevant to KH. This research figures out the characters and the messages or moral values of a play namely Lady Windermere’s Fan. The drama was designed based on Heathcote’s (1984) understanding of drama in education in order to cultivate creative pedagogy and ‘character’ building. The data was gained by reading the drama script based on existing documents. The result showed that every character has various characters and each of them is related to others. The main character has fundamentally strengthened the plot and has important effects to other characters. The moral values that can be seen from this play are that all humankind is far from the word “perfect” even if they are considered themselves as good, kind, and wise people. They still tend to have a shortage.

Abstract. This study examines the effect of interactivity on the attribution of responsibility for the character’s actions in a violent video game. Through an experiment, we tested the hypothesis that identification with the main character in Grand Theft Auto IV mediates the effect of interactivity on attributions of responsibility for the main character’s antisocial behavior. Using the framework of the fundamental attribution error, we demonstrated that those who actually played the game, as opposed to those who simply watched someone else playing it, identified with the main character. In accordance with the theoretical expectation, those who played the game and came to identify with the main character attributed the responsibility for his actions to external factors such as “living in a violent society.” By contrast, those who did not interact with the game attributed responsibility for the character’s actions to his personality traits. These findings could be viewed as contrasting with psychological research suggesting that respondents should have distanced themselves from the violent protagonist rather than identifying with him, and with Iyengar’s (1991) expectation that more personalized episodic framing would be associated with attributing responsibility to the protagonist.
