In the field of satellite communications, spectrum analyzer is one of the primary means of frequency monitoring, and it plays an important role in ensuring communication quality. According to the principle of the superheterodyne spectrum analyzer, the design and realization of a spectrum acquisition unit based on MSP430F149 MCU is given in this paper. Comparing the test results with those of the Agilent N9020 spectrum analyzer, the comparison shows that in the intermediate frequency signal monitoring, the spectrum analyzer designed in this paper has reached the current performance level of the mainstream spectrum analyzer.

With the rapid development of wireless communications, there are more and more ​​stringent requirements on the wireless receiver, such as low power consumption, high reliability, low price, as well as smaller size. The design of RF receiver is the key to achieve this goal. According to the actual needs of the project, a double conversion IF receiver is designed. At first, the high frequency signal is changed to a higher IF, and the second output is a zero-IF signal. Experimental results show that the receiver has 100dB gain and a flat bandwidth.

A novel groove guide mixer was proposed. The key features of this mixer are large dimension and good signal-to-noise performance. The shell of this mixer is made up of a novel waveguide, the groove guide. A planar logarithmically periodic antenna was installed in the guide. It received signals in the guide and transmitted them to the mixer diode. A compact multi-section coaxial filter was arranged to lead the intermediate frequency signal out of the shell. At the end of the mixer, a matched terminator is adopted to absorb millimeter wave signals. One model of this mixer was designed, fabricated and tested at 93.069GHz. It works well on millimeter wave band.

The dynamic target echo intermediate-frequency signal source can be used to detecting and repairing receiving system, signal processing system, display system of conventional radar. The output frequency which conducted by the signal source can be adjusted. The range of output signal frequency basically covers different types of radar, which has important practical application value on the maintenance of radar. The dynamic target echo intermediate-frequency signal source is make up of source processing unit, intermediate-frequency unit, monitoring unit, the time reference source, input and output driver board and power supply pulse generation. Pulse processing unit in the signal source is in the core status.
