Different types of disasters occur frequently in coal mines. This paper analyzed the characteristics of different disasters, chosen the corresponding sensors to collect the information of disaster scene, and discussed the methods of multi sensor information fusion. Lastly, the multi-sensor information fusion strategies for fire, gas outburst, flood, and roof collapse were proposed in this research.

In China, coal-gas outburst is seriously affecting safety of the coal mine. To improve the safety status of underground coal mining, this work investigated the evolution process and occurrence mechanism of coal-gas outburst under the coupling action of stress and gas. Results show that increasing either gas pressure or in-situ stress can make coal destroy and destabilize, and the contribution of gas pressure to coal failure is twice that of in-situ stress. In ultradeep coal mining, coal-gas outburst may occur even under the condition of low gas pressure due to large in-situ stress. Moreover, the larger the mining depth is, the lower the gas index is required for disaster occurrence. The results have certain guiding significance for coal energy mining and the control of coal-gas outburst in deep coal mining.

Coal gas accident is the main threat to the safety production in coal mine,it needs a safe and efficient drilling equipment to detection and drainage in the gas area.At present,the equipments detect and drainage in underground coal mines are mainly fission rigs,which move time-consuming, and the efficiency of drilling is low.This paper introduces a new kind of full hydraulic drill car used in coal,it includes the integral design of the car, the structure layout, the drilling arm and the main parts of design ideas.The new drill carriage adopts the caterpillar vehicle structures,full hydraulic pressure drives,it can automatically change the drill rod, prevent bit-stuck device,can freely passage in the narrow roadway,arrived at the reservation of the drilling position and carries on the omni-directional drilling,it can meets various mine construction requirements, and it has a broad market prospect.
