The geographical distribution patterns ofChrysoteuchiaHübner in China are analysed with MaxEnt and ArcGIS based on known localities and nineteen environmental variables. The results suggest that southeastern China is a highly suitable area, and Bio11 (mean temperature of the coldest quarter), Bio12 (annual precipitation) and Bio18 (precipitation of the warmest quarter) are revealed to be the main variables affecting the present distribution patterns. Among them, Bio18 is the strongest predictor with a 24.3% contribution. Furthermore, a new species from Tibet is added to the genus,Chrysoteuchialandryisp. nov., and the male ofC.curvicavusis described for the first time. Images of adults and their genitalia are illustrated, and two maps showing the geographical distribution patterns ofChrysoteuchiain China are provided.

A new species of camaenid land snail, Satsuma longkiauwensis sp. nov. from southern Taiwan is established. This large terrestrial and herbivorous snail inhabits the lowland forests with a narrow geographical distribution. The species is characterized by having a large shell, roundly angulated peripheries adjacent to the peristome, an open umbilicus, a robust flagellum, a weak expansion on male genitalia instead of a penial caecum externally and a hemispherical verge instead of an elongated pilaster internally. A key is provided for the first time to identify camaenids from Taiwan.

Centaurea sanandajensis is described and illustrated as a new species from Kurdestan Province, W Iran. The characters that distinguish the new species from its nearest relative C. longipedunculata are given. In addition, C. elegantissima is reported as new to Iran, and its chromosome number (2n = 2x = 22) is counted for the first time. The description of C. elegantissima is completed with the characters of mature achenes, and its differences from the nearest relative C. kandavanensis are summarized. The geographical distribution of discussed species is presented.

Notes are provided for six microcaddisfly species (Trichoptera, Hydroptilidae) in the Japanese fauna. One is a new species, Hydroptila nago Ito sp. nov., described from southern Japan. The second and third, Hydroptila dorsoprocessuata Botosaneanu 1993, previously known from eastern Russia, and Hydroptila introspinata Zhou and Sun 2009, known from northeastern China and Korea, are recorded from Japan for the first time and redescribed. A fourth, Hydroptila parapiculata Yang and Xue 1994, is known from central and southeastern China and central Japan; the male is redescribed. By synonymizing Ugandatrichia shinshiroensis Ito et al. 2018, described from central Japan, with a Chinese species, Allotrichia rhynchophyllum Zhou et al. 2016, we record the genus Allotrichia McLachlan from Japan for the first time. For a sixth species, Stactobia distinguenda Nozaki and Botosaneanu 1996, previously known in Japan from the male only, the larva and its case are described.

A new species of the Oriental Perlidae genus Neoperlops Banks, 1939, Neoperlops triangulatus sp. nov. is described from Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of southern China. Neoperlops gressitti Banks, 1939 is redescribed, and recorded from Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region for the first time. Neoperlops huanghuye (Chen, 2020) comb. n., recently described from Fujian Province from southeastern China, is transferred from Phanoperla Banks, 1938. The six species of the genus are classified in two groups of morphologically similar species.

The family Alucitidae in Korea is reviewed. One species is described as new, Pterotopteryx koreana sp. nov., and two species are reported for the first time, Alucita japonica (Matsumura) and Pterotopteryx spilodesma (Meyrick). A key to the three species is provided, along with data on their biology and geographical distribution. External and genitalic characteristics of the species are described and illustrated.

Neolinoptes gen. n. is erected to replace Linoptes Gorham, 1884, preoccupied by Linoptes Menge, 1854 (Arachnida: Araneae). Consequently, Neolinoptes imbrex (Gorham, 1884) comb. n., N. amazonicus (Pic, 1923) comb. n., N. atronotatus (Pic, 1922) comb. n., N. atripennis (Pic, 1932) comb. n. are proposed. Calocladon rubidum Gorham, 1884 is transferred to Neolinoptes. Lycomorphon iwokrama sp. n. is proposed as new to science and the genus is recorded from Guyana for the first time. Additionally, Falsocaenia irregularis var. germaini Pic, 1931 is elevated to species rank and past confusion on F. irregularis discussed. New data on geographical distribution of Falsocaenia paranana (Pic, 1922) are presented.

We redescribe and illustrate Halcurias pilatus McMurrich, 1893 and H. mcmurrichi Uchida, 2004 (Endocoelantheae, Halcuriidae) from newly collected specimens from Southern Chile and deep-water reefs off Florida, respectively. Halcurias pilatus was previously considered to have a disjunct distribution until Uchida (2004) described a new species for the material from the Bahamas. However, the description of H. mcmurrichi does not meet modern taxonomic standards. We provide new anatomical and cnidae data for H. pilatus and H. mcmurrichi. Both species differ in the distribution and cnidom of nematocyst batteries in the column, development of microcnemes mesenteries, cnidae and geographical distribution. We find that H. pilatus can have a weak mesogleal marginal sphincter and amend accordingly the diagnoses of the genus Halcurias, family Halcuriidae, and suborder Endocoelantheae. These new records represent the first time both species have been collected since their original descriptions.
