This paper describes the design principles and realization process of project-based computer English learning system. The subjective initiative of project-based learning is applied to English learning as a starting point, allowing full play to learner’s analytical, problem-solving and self-exploration ability. Combined with the computer database SQL Server and other related procedures, we established an English project-based learning system, investigated its user satisfaction and collected relevant statistics. This system plays a promotive role in providing guidance for English learning and lifting the informatization level of English teaching.

To improve the students’ individualized and autonomous learning ability in English teaching, a mobile English learning system is designed on the basis of adaptive algorithm. The students’ need for the adaptive mobile English teaching system is analyzed through researches on students and questionnaires. According to the needs analysis, the main functional modules of the adaptive mobile English learning system are designed, including the creation module, personalized learning module, evaluation and feedback module, and management module. Then, the improved XAHM (XML adaptive hypermedia model) is applied to the mobile English learning system. The three-layer architecture of the English mobile learning system is revised into four layers of composition layer, data layer, business logic layer and presentation layer. At the same time, more attention is diverted to the terminal and the situation. Finally, the system is tested. The test results showed that the mobile English learning system realized the self-adaptive and intelligent navigation of learning space in the course of teaching. It is concluded that the new adaptive algorithm had a good performance for college English learning.

College English teaching is in urgent need of a platform which may improve stu-dents' initiative in English learning, raise learning interest and enhance English teaching management, in order to improve students' English level and facilitate the teacher's English teaching management. The popularity of campus network facili-ties in various universities provides hardware support for the establishment of a personalized English teaching platform based on campus network. The study is aimed at designing a personalized English teaching platform based on campus network, which takes VBSCRIPT as programming language and SQL Server as database software of the platform, completing the interactive processing of the da-ta based on the data structure of client computer/server (B/S). First, the paper in-troduces the relevant teaching and education theories, laying theoretical and tech-nical basis for the design of personalized English teaching platform in combina-tion with the computer technology used in the design of the platform. The combi-nation of questionnaire and analytic study is used in the design of the system from various aspects, and makes the design of the platform come true. At last, the testing of the system verifies that the system meets the relevant functional re-quirement. The platform would provide an open environment for English learning and stimulating the guidance of teachers and is of great significance to improve the level of college English teaching.

The COVID-19 pandemic led to the implementation of the Work From Home<strong> </strong>(WFH) policy. The impact of this policy is to replace the process of teaching and learning activities by using an online learning system. In this industrial era 4.0, the integration of web applications is very much needed in problem-solving learning. One that can be used to integrate web applications in learning through project-based learning. The focus of this research is to study the effects of online project-based learning applications on mathematics students' visual thinking continuum. Instruments used in the form of rubric virtual mind maps, audio-visual and virtual posters are used to observe students' visual thinking continuum. The instrument was analyzed with the Rasch measurement model software named WINSTEPS. This study used one group pretest-posttest design to see the effect of integrating web applications in learning through project-based learning analyzed using SPSS. The results of instrument analysis for rubric virtual mind maps, audio-visual products, and virtual posters on measure person obtained good person reliability, MNSQ infit, and MNSQ OUTFIT the average rating is very good. For the ZSTD infit and the ZSTD outfit, the average value is close to 0.0 so that the quality of the person's reliability is good. The results of the conformity quality of the items with the model studied from the fit order items obtained the value of Outfit mean square (MNSQ), Outfit Z-standard (ZSTD), and the value of Point Measure Correlation (Pt Mean Corr) for the three instruments met good criteria. The results of the analysis of paired samples test from 54 respondents obtained p &lt;0.05 so that the base learning project has the effect of increasing students' visual thinking continuum. Implementation of online project-based learning in mathematics learning is an alternative that can be used to improve students' creative problem-solving skills in online learning

Learning management system (LMS) is a web-based system used to develop, implement, and assess a specific learning process. When designing an administration learning system, it is important to understand the general architecture and roles of each level of the system. In this study, we propose a web-based English reading learning system to address the drawbacks of existing methods in English learning resource management that include login impact, system response time, and user satisfaction. English reading materials are integrated using a feature model, and the adaptive recommendation system is built using the ID3 method. The design of the proposed English reading learning system was intended to employ a hybrid of software and hardware that will benefit a wide variety of groups, especially universities, colleges, and organizations. The statistic results showed that the proposed model is capable of meeting the functional objectives of English learning resource management, as well as having a rapid and accurate response time with high user satisfaction.
