Induction heating furnace temperature control is a complex nonlinear hysteretic inertial process, it's difficult to obtain an accurate mathematical model because the temperature and disturb from outside is complicated. The normal PID control algorithm is hard to satisfy the standards of control. The fuzzy PID controller provided in this article is a combination between fuzzy control and the traditional PID control. The Fuzzy control theory is used to setting the ratio, the integral and the differential coefficient of the PID control. In the run-up stage, rapidity is guaranteed, overstrike and the steady-state error is up to the mustard. An example indicates that fuzzy PID control is superior to the normal PID controller.

Annular heating furnace temperature control is a typical and complex industrial process control system,with the characteristics of multivariable,time-varying parameters,nonlinear,coupling, large inertia and pure delay,so it is difficult to obtain satisfactory control effect when using conventional PID control. In view of the above problems, adopting fuzzy PID algorithm and cascade double-cross limiting control, combustion control effect is greatly improved, self-tuning of PID parameters is realized, and control quality is enhanced. The experimental results show that, fuzzy PID control shows good dynamic and steady performance, its control effect is significantly improved when compared with conventional PID control, and it has better overall performance.

Fuzzy control, based on traditional Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) control, is used to improve the management of a hydro-junction’s sluice scheduling. In this study, we combined the PID and Fuzzy control theories and determined the PID parameters of the fuzzy self-tuning method of a hydro-junction’s sluice. A fuzzy self-tuning PID controller and its algorithm were designed. In hydro-junction sluice control, the Fuzzy PID controller can modify PID parameters in real-time, resulting in a more dynamic response. The application of the fuzzy self-tuning PID controller in the CiHuai River project information integration system yielded very good results.

Aim at the effect of the control method in traditional metallurgy furnace temperature is not good, a self-tuning fuzzy PID control method combining fuzzy control with PID control was proposed in this paper based on the analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the PID control and fuzzy control method, and a concrete control algorithm was put forward and simulation experiment was finished. The simulation results show that the effect of the controller is good, and the control of system is fast and smoothly according to it.

This paper deals with the study of air-condition temperature control, which is a complex system of time varying, nonlinear, imprecise model and uncertain work environment. In this paper, a multiple models fuzzy PID controller is designed. Considering the air-condition temperature adjustment system to combat aircraft and the frequently changing external environment the multiple fuzzy PID controllers are estimated according to the temperature changing area. Each time, based on temperature tested, only one fuzzy PID Controller is chosen to improve the control precision. At the end, simulation results show that multiple model fuzzy PID control is superior to the single fuzzy PID control, which effectively improve the transient response of the system, the steady state accuracy and robustness, having good prospects for engineering applications.

It is a promising heat supply strategy to use induction heating for the pipe lining process, but temperature control is hindering its application. In this study, we designed the variable universe fuzzy PID controller, and the lining induction heating system model was used to verify its performance. First, the transfer function parameters of the lining induction heating system are obtained by the step response method. Then, a point-by-point convergent interpolator is established through the contraction-expansion factors to realize the adaptive expansion of the fuzzy universe. Finally, the performance of PID, fuzzy PID, and variable universe fuzzy PID are compared through simulation experiments, and the ability of the controller to resist disturbance is verified by adding interference. The results show that the variable universe fuzzy PID controller can greatly improve the performance of fuzzy PID in response speed and settle time. The average stability error is smaller than PID and fuzzy PID control. It can meet the speed and accuracy requirements of the lining induction heating system. This research can be used as a reference for induction heating precise control and evidence that the variable universe fuzzy PID control can satisfy the lining induction heating process.
