Digital image processing technology applied to the field of automotive body development, especially the aerodynamic development of the external shape of automobile. This method and its corresponding software improve the efficiency compared with other traditional fluid software tools in processing the car’s front area, reduce artificial error, and have high accuracy. Digital image processing algorithms used in this article includes Image Gray, Median Filtering, Image Segmentation, Contour Extraction and so on.

In order to extract characteristic values of graphene, a method based on a series of digital image processing algorithms was proposed in this paper. Using the method, we can automatically analyze topology structure and calculate amount of carbon atoms, and even calculate chiral vector indices (n, m) during in-situ TEM scanning of graphene. At last, we also write the correlative software with c++, which applying the digital image processing algorithms, and give out the processing result of several classic TEM image of graphene.

Medical practice in general, and dentistry in particular, generatesdata sources, such as high-resolution medical images and electronicmedical records. Digital image processing algorithms takeadvantage of the datasets, enabling the development of dental applicationssuch as tooth, caries, crown, prosthetic, dental implant, andendodontic treatment detection, as well as image classification. Thegoal of image classification is to comprehend it as a whole and classifythe image by assigning it to a specific label. This work presentsthe proposal of a tool that helps the dental prosthesis specialist toexchange information with the laboratory. The proposed solutionuses deep learning to classify image, in order to improve the understandingof the structure required for modeling the prosthesis. Theimage database used has a total of 1215 images. Of these, 60 wereseparated for testing. The prototype achieved 98.33% accuracy.

Digital image processing is a kind of technology which employs a certain algorithm to realize image processing through computer algorithm. The powerful capacity of computing and graphics displaying function of Matlab makes image processing becomes more simple and intuitive. This paper introduces the basic knowledge of dealing with noise in digital image, expounds the neighborhood average method, median filtering in detail, and low pass filtering and other typical of eliminating noise method , and at the same time analyzes and compares the characteristics of several typical methods by use of the software Matlab.
