In this paper, network layer is based on ZigBee standard. Network establishment and routing of wireless sensor network have been detailed in ZigBee network transmission. It has described data in tree topology and routing in mesh topology network respectively. It has provided with an example. There is no corresponding route in its routing table information, when the source device needs to send a message to the destination device. Source network layer initiates route discovery process. The programming examples are verified on this basis of the theory.

The paper presents the network layer of the protocol stack in wireless sensor networks. This stack makes it possible to implement wireless sensor networks of a tree topology, which are able to function in the presence of noise. We state the requirements for the network layer and propose a development to the keep-alive mechanism that forms the basis of the network recovery subsystem. We present a functional flow block diagram of the network layer proposed and its model based on the ns-3 simulator. We also describe the noise model. Our simulation allowed us to estimate how noise interferes with the network operation and to show that the network layer of the protocol stack for a wireless sensor network featuring a network recovery mechanism is efficient in the presence of noise


Switchyard is the interconnection of generating station and grid. The generated power from the generating station is transmitted to the grid through switchyard. Switchyard is used to give a secured power to the grid. In our process SCADA is used to operate and control the switchyard operations. SCADA is a emerging trend in WSN technology. It is a transceiver used to transmit and receive data in full duplex mode. The switchyard is controlled and monitored from the UCB room through the underground cables. But in our process it is done by SCADA MODULE. These modules are fixed in switchyard and another in UCB room. In the switchyard side it is controlled by microcontroller and in UCB room side it is by operator. If any operation such as opening/closing the isolator , generator breaker can be done by operator by giving command to SCADA module in UCB side. The SCADA module receives the command signal and transfer it to microcontroller. It will do the operation through relay module. In this concept we are replacing cables by wireless sensor network SCADA by using Mesh topology

MAC protocol of Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) requires high efficiency to achieve maximum traffic transmission, while pursuit high reliability at the same time. The paper researched on reliable mixing broadcast implementation manner of WSN. Based on analysis on implementation manners of broadcast, unicast and mixing broadcast, a kind of adaptive MAC protocol supporting reliable mixing broadcast was presented. The protocol dynamically select implementation manner with maximum mixing broadcast efficiency based on given network parameters to complete transmission of data frame. Simulation results based on NS2 shows that the protocol has better performance to achieve reliable mixing broadcast, which solve problems of reliable broadcast/multicast at network layer.

In IEEE802.15.4 compatible network, TDMA mechanism was used to access the medium and all nodes communicate to each other within one superframe periodically. In order to use the time slot efficiently, graph coloring algorithms are used to schedule the time slots in wireless sensor network. In this paper, the impacts of different assignments on network performance were analyzed and the result was extended to mesh topology network. The proposed data delay model was used to design a PSO algorithm to optimize the assignment schema. Finally, simulation was carried out to verify the practicability of the algorithm and the optimization effect was shown.
