The shear bearing capacity of pretensioning prestressed concrete beam bridge mainly depends on the stirrup and concrete of the beam, but the longitudinal pre-pressure plays a certain role for the shear bearing of the structure. Under the carbonization corrosion condition, the shear-bearing capacity of the pretensioning prestressed concrete beam will attenuate gradually with the stirrup corrosion and concrete deteriorate. And the risk of brittle shear failure will be increased with the enhanced reinforcement corrosion amount. The paper presents an anti-shear calculation model of the pretensioning prestressed concrete beam bridge, and discusses the time-variation model of the corrosion stirrup considering the effective prestress attenuation under the carbonization corrosion condition. The analysis method on the anti-shear reliability of existing pretensioning bridges under the corrosion condition is proposed then. The method will be used in the durability and safety evaluation of the shear-bearing capacity of the existing pretensioning prestressed concrete bridges.

Under the acid rain corrosion condition, the shear-bearing capacity of the pretension prestressed concrete beam will attenuate gradually with the stirrup corrosion and concrete deteriorate. Moreover, the stress corrosion cracking failure and the bond force degradation of the prestressed wires that caused by the aggravated corrosion mediator ingress will further increase the shear failure risk of the pretension prestressed concrete structure without any symptom. The paper presents a shear bearing capacity calculation model of the pretension prestressed concrete beam bridge and discuss the time-variation model of the stirrup corrosion considering the effective prestress attenuation under the acid rain corrosion condition. The analysis method on anti-shear reliability of existing pretension prestressed concrete beam bridges under the sodium sulfate corrosion condition is proposed then. The method will be used in the durability and safety evaluation of the shear-bearing capacity of the existing pretension prestressed concrete beam bridges in the corrosion environment with acid rain.

Damages correlation of prestressed concrete beam and its safety evaluation have been studied by finite element method. The influences of three typical damages on deflection of beam have been analyzed. The vertical crack damage (VC) has been simulated by pre-crack and contact elements has been set between crack surfaces, the reinforcing steel corrosion damage (RSC) has been simulated by reducing the effective area of the reinforcing steel, and the concrete strength degradation damage (CSD) has been simulated by changing the elastic modulus of concrete based on the relationship between concrete strength and its elastic modulus. Damage correlation variables have been defined, and safety evaluation method of concrete beam based on damage correlation has been discussed. The results showed that: there is a strong nonlinear correlation between VC and RSC, and the beam's safety states are significantly reduced because of the interaction of damages.
