Wood, which is well known as the most natural material, has been playing a very important role in the development of human society. The design concepts of promoting greens environmental protection have influenced the current society profoundly. As a culture carrier, the designing manner of using wood as the central element is very popular. The author is trying to dissect the beauty and the connotation of wood from the angle of Philosophy through this article. Then she will analyze the current use of wood in the modern interior design with examples. At last, the corresponding design principles and decoration methods will be summed up to combine with the actual situation of modern interior design.

A phenomenon that the damping ratio will decrease when the power flows from both sides to the primary power grid is summarized and analyzed in the paper. Based on analysis of the damping ratio change of West Inner Mongolia-Shandong oscillation under the sequential operation mode and the hedge operation mode, a three-machine equivalent system is established to study edge to edge (ETE) oscillation mode under hedge operating mode of the power system. The influence of magnitudes and trends of power flow on damping ratio is analyzed, and the reason that why damping ratios decreases when both sides send power to the mid-side power grid is explained.

The island operation is a new operating mode of the distribution network after the distributed generation is introduced. And it is a beneficial supplement for the operation of the distribution network. The distributed power supply capacity is made full use to ensure the safe operation of the maximum number of significant load when the fault occurs. A combinational algorithm of the planned island partition is presented according to the principle of power balance in the distribution network failure. Heuristic search strategy and the breadth-first search algorithm are adopted by taking into account the characteristics of different types of distributed power. The validity of the method is proved by the example.

In the article the results of a new type of piezo-electric step-engine research are presented. The original construct of piezo-electric step-engine is contained in special engineering lever called grab device that can organize back and forward rod’s motion with only one piezo element activity. To choose the effective process of piezo-electric step-engine work the mathematical model was created. This mathematical model describes inner piezo-electric step-engine process with features of contact and electroelastic deformation. Using the ANSYS application package, а finite element model of the piezo-electric step-engine has been developed. This finite element model allows estimate the stress-strain state of structural elements of the piezo-electric step-engine and determine the effective step-by-step operation mode of the piezo-electric step-engine. Using the finite element model, the influence of the piezo-electric step-engine operating mode parameters on the amount of displacement of the rod is studied. According to results of experimental studies, the proposed numerical model allows to simulate the dynamic process of step-operation of a piezo-electric step-engine with an error of no more than 6 %. This finite element model include the external load on piezo-electric step-engine and can be used to design piezo-electric step-engine of various fields of application.

The paper deals with a special case of identifying the operation mode of an unmanned aircraft (UAV) engine by an acoustic signal (provided that a known type of propellers is used), the main frequency extraction from the signal, and a numerical experiment. A full-scale experiment was performed with the recording of the acoustic signal of a real quadrocopter. The signal is analyzed by the method of frequency filters and Fourier transform. A numerical experiment was performed on a scanned model of a UAV propeller, rotating at a frequency obtained from an acoustic signal. The experiment involved a hybrid finite-volume method on the mesh of the finite element method of the ANSYS CFX simulation environment. The correspondence of the required lifting force with the permissible error is revealed, and as a result, the ability to identify the engine operating mode by an acoustic signal is shown. The field measurements of the acoustic signal are compared with the values recovered from a numerical experiment. A significant amount of data has been obtained suitable for use in the inverse problem and semi-analytic methods.
