On the basis of in-depth study of the power system enterprise applications with distributed and heterogeneous characteristics, a solution to cope with an integrated data conversation platform is proposed against the background of power dispatching automation system which the data modeling and software component interface is not mature enough. This article also gives software design methods based on the CORBA specification and IEC 61970 standards for power system automation and elaborated the task execution flow of generic data access (GDA); at last corresponding test is also given. At the same time the development process for CORBA object services, resources sequence caching, distributed object calls and other important issues are given a detailed solution.

Abstract As a large, complex system with wide distribution and high real-time, the safe, stable and reliable operation of the power system is inseparable from the power automation system. In this paper, an in-depth study is conducted on the key issues of this solution in the process of software cross-platform integration around the EPRI graphic center method, combined with the power data interface standard. The dispatch center graphics system and the dispatch center power graphics application method are discussed in detail in the paper. In addition, the paper also explains the online calibration system for relay protection ratings with smart grid dispatching technology support system. The methods and sample systems in this paper have been practically applied in large scale power grid dispatching centers, providing a reliable guarantee for the safe and stable operation of the power grid.

The informatization development of banking industry and power dispatching automation system in China was introduced. The data transmission, the network level, the network topology and the selection of technical system for both were compared. The banking network more single tends to choose IP over ATM networking. The power dispatching data network includes two levels and every level is subdivided into three. IP over SDH networking is more suitable for it.

Generic data access (GDA) defines application program interface services that are needed to access public entity objects for the power system domain. In GDA services, the entity objects are designed on the basis of common information model (CIM). One way to realize ResourceIDService for GDA is proposed in this paper. The ResourceIDService contains get_resource_ids () as well as get_uris () methods. The implementation procedure for that of the two methods are described detailedly. Finally, experimental tests are used to demonstrate the correctness of the realization process for the two methods.
