Traditional injection mould development needs longer cycle and higher cost, while the use of virtual assembly technology can greatly reduce the cost of the design process. Besides, the cost of newly designed products injection mold shaping and its die trial was very expensive; yet virtual mold assembly system can reduce the cost in the process of actual assembly. The simulation system of injection mold assembly and modeling can be designed by applying the virtual reality technology and its virtual roaming displaying can be achieved with external control and display devices on the virtual interaction platform of the Nvision. Finally utilizing man-machine interface technology can make users immersed in a virtual environment, realize man-machine interaction and provide a brand-new information exchange interface superior to the traditional manifestation way.

Virtual reality technology has existed since the late 1950s; however, its use in the educational sector has been limited because of the cost of the equipment, inaccessibility of the technology, issues of usability, and lack of appropriate educational content and educator training. New technological advances have resolved some of these limitations. Additionally, affordable virtual reality equipment that has been predominately used with adults shows compelling results, highlighting the potential of this technology when used with children for educational purposes. This paper presents an overview of immersive virtual reality’s potential as a learning tool with children, highlighting its current uses, research with children for educational purposes, and the existing barriers for the applicability and implementation of immersive virtual reality in school settings.

In order to resolve the problems about providing optimal learning and training and high price caused by frequent computer-assembly, a virtual computer assembly experimental system is built by virtual reality technology. The architecture of virtual computer assembly system is put forward and the prototype for the virtual computer assembly system is built based on virtual reality. Key technologies such as the scene control and rendering of Vega Prime, collision detection in assembling, computer hardware model real-time editing and model positioning are discussed in detail, and the virtual assembly system is applied to practice which is testified feasibly.

With the rapid development of digital technology and virtual reality technology, virtual reality technology has been paid more and more attention by more and more people. To investigate the application of virtual assembly simulation and improve ergonomics, the study on the interactive assembly operation has been performed. A Comprehensive Evaluation Method for ergonomics based on simulation of virtual assembly operations is proposed, aiming at avoid inadequate working postures, effectively improve assembly quality and shorten the production cycle. In this paper, the virtual assembly technology is introduced to the assembly process of an industrial manipulator. Details of the virtual assembly simulation process of an industrial manipulator design and its implementation are presented. This proposed method provides great support to the design of assembly process and brings about good change in the ergonomics of machine and system visualization. The analysis of this instance plays a guiding role in the optimization of human factors engineering.

The paper give a method of construct a virtual interactive training system for assemble equipment based on virtual reality technology in which trainees can experience how to assemble equipments. A new, simple and quick software solution of "modeling software + programming language" is proposed to design the system. After the actual used by trainees, it show that the system has characteristics of good interaction and strong immersion, the process of assemble equipments is realistic, efficient and convenient. Achieved its purpose of assemble equipments training, and it is a preparation and supplement to assemble actual equipments.
