Information visualization involves the visual, and sometimes interactive, presentation and organization of complex data in a clear, compelling representation. Information visualization is an essential element in peoples’ daily lives, especially those in data-driven professions, namely online educators. Although information visualization research and methods are prevalent in the diverse fields of healthcare, statistics, economics, information technology, computer science, and politics, few examples of successful information visualization design or integration exist in online learning. The authors provide a background of information visualization in education, explore a set of potential roles for information visualization in the future design and integration of online learning environments, provide examples of contemporary interactive visualizations in education, and discuss opportunities to move forward with design and research in this emerging area.

Craft brewing is a rapidly growing industry in the U.S. Most craft breweries are small businesses with few resources for robotic or other mechanical-assisted equipment, requiring work to be performed manually by employees. Craft brewery workers frequently handle stainless steel half-barrel kegs, which weigh between 13.5 kg (29.7 lbs.) empty and 72.8 kg (161.5 lbs.) full. Moving kegs may be associated with low back pain and even injury. In the present study, researchers performed a quantitative assessment of trunk postures using an inertial measurement unit (IMU)-based kinematic measurement system while workers lifted kegs at a craft brewery. Results of this field-based study indicated that during keg handling, craft brewery workers exhibited awkward and non-neutral trunk postures. Based on the results of the posture data, design recommendations were identified to reduce the hazardous exposure for musculoskeletal disorders among craft brewery workers.

In this article we discuss methods of displaying geospatial information for the Arctic region and the continental shelf using various web technologies in order to solve applied tasks associated with the development of the regional infrastructure. The assessment of the main projections’ metric capabilities basic for cartographic services is carried out, and the functionality of search and demonstration tasks that can be solved by means of such information systems is determined. The necessity of optimizing the approach to data design is noted. The proposed method for displaying geospatial information in the form of a single unified isometric cartographic projection will enable determining the position of objects within the planned accuracy of topographic maps at scale of 1

The Supervision System is one of the important components of the Construction Engineering Information Management. This paper proposed the system’s design with the Struts2 and MVC framework based on the android mobile platform. First of all, it gives the E-R model and data design in the system. Then, it gives the overall architecture of the system in which the android client uses MVC framework while the Server-Client uses Struts2 framework that is responsible for the separation of MVC and the jump of the business layer. Besides, for the communication protocol between the Client and the Server, it adopts the HTTP service and Socket service, and uses JSON as a data interchange format. In the end, the UI design of each module in the system is given.

Learning facilities are often a problem in the learning process for athletic sports. The purpose of this study was to produce a product to develop a hurdling learning tool. The subjects of the small scale trial were class IV which assessed 28 students, and the subjects of the large scale trial were class V who were assessed 32 who were in SDN 70 Kota Tengah Kota Gorontalo. The method in this research is related to determining potentials and problems, design data, design validation, revised design, product testing, product testing, usage trials, product revisions, product testing. The results of this development research are in the form of a tool made from a rubber band with adjustable height support poles then poured out and packed into a book.
