The use of the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) is frequent in supplier selection. First, AHP is a pairwise comparison between criteria. If the pairwise comparisons are inconsistent, the result is invalid. Thus, the process of comparing criteria must be repeated continuously until valid results are obtained. This process takes time and costs so it is considered inefficient. This research proposes the application of the Hamilton chain process into the pairwise comparison matrix. One criterion is symbolized as a knot, while the arc is symbolized as the pairwise comparison value between the two nodes or the connected criterion. In the network model of the AHP method, each node is connected to all other nodes without exception. Whereas in the proposed method, each criterion or node is compared only once. That said, avoiding inconsistencies can be made. The consistency ratio result of the proposed method is found to be consistent

This paper examines the criteria and attributes for assessing defects in a heritage building. The goal of this paper is to solve element type for building defects by using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). A survey questionnaire was develop based on the identified criteria and attributes of defect for a heritage building in Malaysia. The survey questionnaire was administered to consultants, academics, and contractors. A total of 20 expert panels was selected to determine the element of the defect in building performance. The sensitivity analysis of alternative ratings in respect to difference pairwise comparisons of the criteria and attribute was carried out. By changing one element in the pairwise comparison matrix, the process of defect element is monitored thus enabling possible improvements. An overall ranking of the Hierarchy priorities of criteria and attribute was a result of the AHP analysis. The result of the research is weightage for each criterion and its respective attributes. The criteria and attributes will be used as elements to develop a strategic heritage building performance procedure in Malaysia.

Strategies to buy a house, consumers often experience problems in determining the house to be purchased, because each house has different characteristics. These characteristics will be used as reference considerations in determining which house to buy. In this study, the AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method was used to weight the criteria and test the level of consistency with the pairwise comparison matrix. If the matrix has been consistent, then it can be continued to rank to determine the chosen alternative by using input weighting criteria obtained from the AHP method. To overcome the above problems, it is necessary to build a decision support system by implementing a ranking that can make it easier to determine House Selection using the AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method. Of the 9 sample houses in the Cepu area, the highest was the Housing of Zam Zam Cepu Type 38/78 with a total value of 2,84564719.

This thesis is compiled to analyze supplier selection in Mayora Group, which is a Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company, with the object of research using Corn Starch as raw material for making glucose creamer on Kopiko and Torabika items. Based on the criteria that have previously been used by the company, the researcher develops the criteria, sub-criteria for supplier selection and supplier classification as well as consistency test from respondents’ answers based on the level of experience and competence of the 4 departments related to the procurement process of raw material imports so that priority suppliers are selected from the current existing suppliers. The determination of supplier selection criteria is calculated based on the weight of the criteria. This criterion weighting is applied through the Analytical Hierarchy Process method. Based on the results of the study, 7 criteria are obtained for the supplier selection, in order of the highest to the lowest priority: Quality, Price, Document Completeness, Delivery, Service, Company Condition, and Geographical location. The value of consistency ratio (CR) in the pairwise comparison matrix of the criteria, sub-criteria, and alternatives of the results of the respondent’s questionnaire answers is within the tolerance limit, so that it is included in the valid and consistent category.

The establishment of the priorities from pairwise comparison matrices is the major constituent of the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). However, the number of pairwise comparisons necessary in real problems often becomes overwhelming. In such cases, generally the experts are not able to answer all questions and consequently sparse judgment matrix is generated which caused "equal ranks" and "rank reversal" based on AHP method. In this paper, a new ranking system (FARSJUM) is developed for such sparse judgment matrix. The system is constructed on fuzzy rules and fuzzy reasoning methods. The numerical example of world cup soccer tournament is brought to clarify the performance of the developed system comparing with AHP method in ranking the sparse judgment matrices.

The purpose of this research is to develop a performance appraisal method to get the priority order of four restaurant beef suppliers based on the weight of the selection criteria and by showing the indicators of each criterion, using the Vendor Performance Index and the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. There are seven main criteria for assessing supplier performance, namely quality, cost, delivery, flexibility, responsiveness, solutions, and relationships which are then translated into thirty-eight sub criteria or indicators. With the AHP method, weights obtained from the seven criteria in the order of quality (0.371), cost (0.256), delivery (0.101), solution (0.078), flexibility (0.070), responsiveness (0.069), and relationship (0.055). The results of supplier selection based on the AHP method obtained the weight in the order of priority of suppliers, namely PT Sukanda Djaya (0.377). PT Indoguna Utama (0.349). Santosa Agrindo (0.146), and Amino Meat (0.128).

In order to bring the reduction of damage and defect of heritage buildings, the management needs to use an suitable methodology approach for the element heritage building. The goal of this paper is to make the selection of criteria and attribute by using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) for heritage building. The selection of criteria and attributes for heritage building are divided into three criteria which are building the structure, building fabric, and building service. By pairwise comparison matrix, the process of selection for criteria and attribute to to enable possible improvements. This finding has shown that all element criteria and attributes in heritage building are important with their function.

PT Urchindize has more than 35 anchovy suppliers, although the company has many suppliers, it still often encounters obstacles. The obstacle felt by the company is that the supplier has not been able to meet a number of standard criteria owned by the company. The company has not yet implemented the proper selection and assessment method for suppliers. Based on this, the company must select suppliers to get suppliers who are truly able to meet company needs consistently and with quality. Based on the results of data processing using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method, obtained the most influential criteria in supplier selection in the following order of priority: price criteria, delivery criteria, quality criteria, supplier relationship criteria, service criteria and responsibility. While the right supplier in the selection of suppliers for PT. Urchindize namely Mr. Ali Yudin became the main priority with a weight of 0.181, second was Mr. Akhsan with a weight of 0.159, third was Mr. Sugiyanto with a weight of 0.141, fourth was Mr. Junaidi with a weight of 0.118, the fifth was Mr. Masdawi with a weight of 0.102, the sixth was is Mrs. Mustarikah with a weight of 0.081, seventh is Mr. Sofyan and Mr. Idris with a weight of 0.073, eighth is Mr. Yusman with a weight of 0.044, the last priority is Mr. Abdul Rokhman with a weight of 0.037.

Abstract-Supplier selection is one of the important things in purchasing activities for companies. Supplier selection is a multi-criteria problem which includes quantitative and qualitative factors. One method that can be used for supplier selection is the AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method. The problems that will be discussed in this study are: (1) how is the order of priority criteria and sub-criteria in the selection of suppliers at PT Garuda Hidrotive International? (2) which supplier / supplier should PT Garuda Hidrotive International choose based on the AHP method? The sampling technique uses judgment sampling because the AHP method requires dependence on a group of experts according to the types of specialists involved in decision making. Based on the results of the analysis, the advice that can be given is, if the company will develop a partnership with suppliers, the company is preferred to choose supplier X as a supplier food chemical for the company because supplier X is the best supplier that has the highest overall value. With this partnership, the supply chain performance between suppliers and companies will be better and can facilitate the overall production activities.
