ABSTRACT Uterine atony is the most common cause of postpartum hemorrhage (PPH) which leads to maternal mortality and morbidity. Herewith reporting a case of 35-year-old woman who underwent cesarean section for transverse lie with hand prolapse. She had atonic PPH for which uterine artery ligation was done along with B-lynch suture. She had subinvolution of uterus secondary to multiple abscesses in uterine wall.
