The purpose of this study is to produce a learning strategy formulation through ICT media based on Emergency Remote Learning (ERL) in an effort to strengthen post-pandemic learning and support the Merdeka Belajar program. This study uses a theoretical and methodological research approach, which mostly uses a deductive theoretical and qualitative methodological approach, including the SWOT matrix analysis. The structural questionnaire link was designed using a 'Google form' which was sent to 500 high school students and teachers. The test results show that the level of student satisfaction in ICT Adaptation on ERL Based Learning obtained that students are satisfied with the ICT Adaptation on ERL Based Learning experience and no serious obstacles were found during the teaching-learning process during the COVID-19 pandemic except for inadequate interaction between students and teachers, as well as social interaction between students. Alternative strategies in the ICT adaptation on ERL-Based learning formulated using a SWOT matrix analysis approach have been presented with the hope that policymakers feel more confident in their decision-making.

Abstract The teaching-learning process becomes more attractive when practical classes are used as part of methodological tools. Aiming (i) to stimulate the interest of high school students in the microbiological world and (ii) to provide didactic experience for microbiology graduate students, practical classes were undertaken. These classes were carried out during the years 2016 and 2017, using the infrastructure held at Universidade Federal de Viçosa. Briefly, laboratory classes were prepared and taught by microbiology graduate students and an evaluation questionnaire was answered by the participants after the classes. Approximately 95% of the high school students, from both years, evaluated the experience outside of the school routine as very good and good. A total of 90.09% (2016) and 100% (2017) of graduate students evaluated this experience as very good and good. The relationship between high school and graduate students also increased the curiosity of the former regarding the university environment. Accordingly, the information retention regarding the ‘microbiology world’ was verified after one year and the students were able to remember important terms related to the microbiology class. In addition, this work allowed graduate students and high school students to build a closer relationship and created an excellent teaching-learning strategy for both.

In this study, the learning experience and its cognitive factors of Mathematics among senior high school students of Visayas State University were investigated using a correlational research approach.  A complete enumeration of 222 grade 11 and 12 senior high students in the second semester of school year 2018-2019 were used as the participants of the survey. Using a developed structured questionnaire, a primary data was employed. Results showed that the mathematics attitude of students influence their learning experience and academic performance. Mathematics anxiety has a negative effect on the students learning experience especially for females. However, mathematical resilience locates itself in a positive psychology which addresses mental wellness and makes the students positively perceived that mathematics is interesting even if it is challenging.  Also, results revealed that senior high school students are mostly visual learners in mathematics, which implies that students practice visualizing or pictures numbers/equations and other concepts in their mind. Furthermore, it can be gleaned that an academic performance is not just derived from study habits but to their motivation and interest in mathematics

This teaching narrative aims at sharing instructional principles and actions during English lessons in two technical high school classes at the Federal Institute of São Paulo (IFSP), understanding the process as an opportunity for classroom practice reflection and not just a set of pedagogical recipes to be followed. The actions reported here are based on Ellis (2008) principles of instructed second language acquisition, being part of a work plan developed for CAPES as a feedback for the CAPES/SETEC/NOVA ongoing education program for English faculty from the federal network, January 2017.

The impetus for the Enhancing Quality and Learning (EQUAL) programme evolved out of concerns held by the staff in the School of Psychology at Edith Cowan University (ECU) regarding the difficulties encountered by first year psychology students and the subsequent low retention rate of these students in the psychology course. The EQUAL programme focused on easing the transition of high school students into university studies by enhancing the social support networks of commencing students. The programme was designed to be an holistic approach to enhancing a sense of belonging to the School of Psychology and comprised seven components. These are peer mentoring, the formation of learning communities, curriculum reforms, tutor training, orientation, the development of student portfolios and school liaison. EQUAL is now an integral part of the learning experience for all psychology students at ECU. Evaluations of the EQUAL programme indicate greater student satisfaction with the psychology course and increased retention rates.

Due to the rapid advancement of technology, teachers were forced to integrate technological equipment and method in educational strategies, for the main purpose of facilitating the learning experience. Accordingly, this study aimed to answer two main questions namely; 1) How can Zoom Meeting enhance high school students at Salatiga to gain success in ELT? 2) To what extent does use the Zoom Meeting as an asynchronous learning strategy affect the motivation of high school students at Salatiga? For that purpose, the researcher implemented an experimental design with a mixed approach to conduct the current study using a pre-test, and a post-test to measure the change in the levels of EFL learners’ English skills, the researcher also spread questionnaires to examine the attitude of the students towards the Zoom meeting. The participants of the current study were 60 high school students at Salatiga who were divided into two groups namely the control and experimental group. The findings indicated that zoom meeting enhanced EFL learners’ English skills and motivation Keywords: Zoom Meeting, Synchronous Learning Strategy, Zoom Meeting Learning
