Environmental interpretation is a tool that helps in understanding the landscape and its elements, frequently used in protected areas (PA) to sensitize visitors. In order to improve environmental interpretation and promote bird watching in the Campos Gerais National Park, this paper aims to discuss the importance of interpretative means to achieve the objectives of the PA, presenting a proposal for a panel and a folder of the present avifauna. For this, besides the bibliographical research and experts consulting, we carried out field visits. It is concluded that the proposed tools could improve the interpretation/identification, as well as in the promotion of sustainable tourism potentially in the conservation of birdlife.

The conservation of natural areas and the Ecotourism The role of sustainable tourism and ecotourism in protected areas will become of increased importance for the preparation of upcoming events like the Football World Cup and Olympic Games. Therefore, specific understanding of Conservation Biology should contribute to the management of environmental tourism. To address these issues, some important aspects of Conservation Biology in global and regional scales are contextualized. This paper discusses the concepts of “biodiversity”, “common and rare species”, “minimum viable population”, the need for large natural areas for some organisms, as well as other aspects that make Conservation of Nature one of the most important issues for humanity today. Palavras-chave: Interpretação Ambiental; Ecoturismo; Geopoética; Parque Nacional da Serra da Bocaina.ABSTRACTThe Canto da Mata project aims to seduce, inform and invite society, through poetic enchantment, to appropriate its protected areas. This article presents some compositions, focusing especially on the Serra da Bocaina National Park (RJ-SP). In order to extend the scope of the conservationist message beyond the borders of conservation units, we seek to portray and communicate Nature as the great naturalistic travelers of the 19th century did, such as Humboldt, Langsdorff, Spix and Martius, among many others, combining investigation and wonder. Through a Geopoetic approach, the valorization of a “thinking-feeling” can soften the boundaries between Art and Science and offer paths for the necessary and urgent reconciliation of contemporary society with Nature. AbstractThe municipality of Bahía Solano possesses important tourist attractions. The majority of them consist of natural wonders such as whale, dolphin and bird watching. Its marine area offers diving courses, all types of fishing, surfing, other water sports etc. The enormous amount of natural wealth stands in contrast to the lack of local development and the high rate of poverty among its inhabitants. Bahía Solano has enviable tourist professions but a low level of competition. This research proposes a methodology of social innovation, elaborated by researchers, that involves nature, communities and tour operators, where a connection of surveys with the expectations and perceptions of the different entities (inhabitants, tourists, and tour operators) has been obtained.
