Microhardness distributions, surface morphology, and elemental composition of a deposited layer of a heat-resistant alloy of the type P2M8U steel formed by plasma surfacing in a protective-alloying nitrogen medium are studied. It was established that the surfacing technology and surfacing material allows to obtain a high-quality deposited alloy without cracks, pores, slag inclusions and defects of macro- and microstructure. It has been established that the deposited material is pearlite grains at the boundaries and grain junctions of which are carbonitrides based on iron, tungsten, chromium, molybdenum, aluminum (Fe6 W6 NC and AlN).

The paper considers the influence of vibration oscillations on the porosity, structure and properties of compact samples obtained by directed energy deposition. A heat resistant alloy based on nickel Inconel 625 was chosen as the starting material. It was found that oscillations at a frequency of 400 Hz significantly reduce the porosity of samples, and also increase the hardness, due to a finer structure, and minimize the anisotropy of properties depending on the direction.

Presents the results of studies on the microstructure an opposite combination of nickel heat-resistant alloys of a brazed joint. The chemical composition of the phases formed as a result of the interaction of the mono-crystal alloy VKNA-25, heat-resistant alloy EP975 and complex alloyed solder VPr56 was investigated. The main regularities of the microstructure of the brazed joint changes during heat treatment were established. The dependence is established and the formula is derived for obtaining the optimal microstructure of the brazed seam with different duration of heat treatment and the size of the assembly gap.
