The caves are medium favorable for preservation of palaeoclimatic and palaeoseismic records. The deformed speleothems are accepted as a modern and useful tool for the prehistoric seismicity reconstruction. The aim of this short communication is to report the presence of deformed deposits in a newly discovered cave in South Bulgaria. Fallen, displaced and broken speleothems were found in the Lednika Cave. This 1287 m long cave is located near the Lepenitsa Cave, where such deformations are well described in the literature.

The Primary Spermatocytes represent a stage in spermatogenesis when the first meiotic cell division occurs. They are derived from Spermatogonium or Stem cell through mitotic division. At the zygotene phase of meiotic prophase the Synaptonemal complex appears in these cells in the space between the paired homologous chromosomes. Spermatogenesis and sperm structure in fish have been studied at the electron microscope level in a few species? However, no work has yet been reported on ultrastructure of tilapia, O. niloticus, spermatozoa and spermatogenetic process. In this short communication we are reporting the Ultrastructure of Primary Spermatocytes in tilapia, O. niloticus, and the fine structure of synaptonemal complexes seen in the spermatocyte nuclei.

The Acromegaly Consensus Group redefined the consensus criteria for cure of acromegaly. 74 neurosurgeons and experienced endocrinologists summarized the latest results on diagnosis and treatment of acromegaly. In this consensus statement the reliable growth hormone and insulin-like growth factor-1 assays were established. Definition of disease control was discussed based on the available publications and evidence.
