Special Relativity Theory (SRT) is from time to time subject to critical assaults. There are several logically deduced discrepancies inherent in SRT (paradoxes) which demand a scrupulous examination. In this paper a new thought experiment, including two frames of reference is presented. Two trains are hurtling in opposite directions past one another in a symmetrical manner, but substantially asymmetrical events occur. This consideration leads to a contradiction in the notion of “relativity of simultaneity” – the basic tenet of SRT.

Abstract Light-pulses that are reflected recurrently to one another by two kinematically equivalent dynamically identical inertial systems moving collinearly and irrotationally with uniform relative velocity generate sequences of contiguous time-intervals in both. By means of clocks stationed in the two systems, each time-interval is both measurable locally and calculable non-locally in accord with basic requirements of special relativity theory. Their ratio yields the velocity dependent dilation-of-time relation of Einstein, but an equivalent spatially dependent version of it is obtained as well, because the time-intervals involved are actually determined by the distances that exist between the systems when the reflections occur. As a result, the Einstein relation involves no time-rates of clocks that are actually affected kinematically by the systems containing them.

The present article deals with the new estimates in q-calculus and fractional q-calculus on a time scale Tt0=0∪t:t=t0qn,n is a nonnegative integer, where t0∈ℝ and 0<q<1. The role of fractional time scale q-calculus can be found as one of the prominent techniques to generate some variants for a class of positive functions n n∈ℕ.Finally, our work will provide foundation and motivation for further investigation on time-fractional q-calculus systems that have an intriguing application in quantum theory and special relativity theory.
