In this paper, we investigate the elementary properties of the N(2,2,0)-algebra. Especially, some properties of nilpotent N(2,2,0)-algebras are presented. Also some relationships between nilpotent N(2,2,0)-algebra and other algebras with the type of (2,0) are obtained.

The first book devoted to a wide-ranging study of developments in global French-language cinema, from Quebec to Mauritania and from Belgium to Cambodia, Cinéma-monde picks up on the lively scholarly debates generated by the related topic of littérature-monde. Extending the scope of this debate to cover the thriving and diverse area of international French-language cinema, this innovative book also considers cinema from France within the context of global production. With contributions from an international range of specialists, and with considerations of works by contemporary directors like Rachid Bouchareb, Abderrahmane Sissako and Rithy Panh, Cinéma-monde explores the porous borders around francophone spaces and the ways in which languages and identities ‘travel’ in contemporary cinema.

This experiment was conducted to determine whether interviewers of different nationalities would elicit significantly different responses to questionnaire and interview items on a nationality-related topic. Four Vietnamese female graduate students interviewed 79 female freshmen on the topic of the Vietnamese War. Each interviewer served representing three nationalities: South Vietnamese, Thai, and Japanese. The results indicated that the most pro-Vietnamese War answers were given to interviewers representing Japanese nationality. Results were significant ( p < .05) for the questionnaires but not for the interviews, although the trends were similar for both. The study suggests that interviewer's nationality can influence the outcome of a survey and that the direction of the influence is nor readily predictable.

Global research output grows exponentially each year. This paper attempts to drive meaning out of this big data on two fields of research in architecture. It maps the interaction between the research fields of sustainability in architecture and architectural education through the perspective of bibliometric data analysis and its visualization. Based on the analysis of bibliometric data, it draws and juxtaposes two timelines for the field of sustainable architecture and the field of architectural education. The objective is to propose a retrospective method that can provide insight for a broader understanding of sustainability and its impacts on architectural education. It utilizes VOSviewer, CiteSpace, and Gephi to visualize bibliometric networks, along with Tableau to analyze the number of journal articles and publications published across years. The paper presents initial findings concerning the leading scholars, trends, and patterns of the research areas, milestone events, and dominant studies to point out the significance of the cooperation between research and education fields of the related topic.

An assignment was devised in an open online space to enable participants on a year-long initial teacher education course to deepen and share their knowledge on a teaching-related topic of interest, to develop their digital skills and to enable reflection on their experience of the task. After two cohorts had completed the assignment, a small research project was then carried out to explore participants’ experience of and attitudes towards this type of assessment. Survey responses suggest that, overall, participants found it to be a worthwhile activity that encouraged them to engage with the literature and reflect on their own and others’ practice. Participants also critiqued the task implementation and commented on how they would adapt it within their own teaching contexts to encourage fuller engagement with the tasks. Following feedback the assignment brief was fully revised for the following year.

Ethnography is a powerful qualitative research method used to understand research informants’ perspectives on a health-related topic. Developed and pioneered by anthropologists, this method has become an important tool across disciplines and industries. This chapter explains the utility of the method for use in the health humanities and offers step-by-step instructions to teach the reader to conduct ethnographic research. Concrete examples from long-term research projects demonstrate not only how this method is used to answer “why” and “how” questions, but also how this type of research pairs with other research methods. Many tools are offered to the reader to assist in the development of ethnographic research skills including resources, references, and an exercise to teach the method.
