Aim: White spot lesions (WSLs) are the most frequently observed problems in patients with poor oral hygiene. If this problem is left untreated during the initial phase, it will ultimately need major treatment. One treatment alternative in the initial phase is the caries infiltration technique. The aim of this case report is to present the treatment of WSLs by using this technique.  Methodology: An 18-year-old female who had WSLs on the buccal surfaces of the lower left canine, first and second premolars and first molar after 8 months of fixed orthodontic therapy was included in this study. Icon-Infiltrant was applied for the treatment of WSLs. Results: After Icon-Infiltrant application, the WSLs were cured. Conclusions: By using this technique, an esthetic smile can be achieved in one visit with the elimination of esthetic discoloration and the progression of the early enamel lesions can be prevented.  How to cite this article: Başaran G, Veli İ, Göncü Başaran E. The loosely structured periodontal ligament and low mineralized bone surrounding erupting teeth provide minimal resistance to an extrusive force. The maxillary central incisors are the most frequently avulsed due to trauma. The prognosis of replanted teeth is affected by extra-alveolar period and conditions. Implant-supported restorations are contraindicated in adolescent patients with poor prognosis traumatized teeth. Autotransplantation of premolar to the anterior region provides a viable treatment alternative.<br/>This case report describes the autotransplantation of premolars and esthetic rehabilitation in a teenage patient with traumatized incisors, poor oral hygiene, and severe crowding. Comprehensive and long-term treatments were performed to improve complex and challenging oral problems.

Endoperiodontal lesions are characterized by the presence of periodontal and pulpal disease within the same dental element. Periodontal and pulpal tissues are related to each other by lateral and accessory canals, the apical foramen, and the dentinal tubules. In the dental literature, whether periodontal disease affects pulpal disease or vice versa remains controversial. Pulpal disease is often accepted to cause periodontal disease. The treatment of endodontic-periodontal combined lesions requires both endodontic therapy and periodontal regenerative procedures. The success rate of treatment comprising only an endodontic procedure for such lesions is low. Periodontal regenerative therapy has been used widely to regenerate periodontium lost due to periodontal disease. Aim: This case report describes the use of a surgical guide in a crown-lengthening procedure to improve the aesthetics of the anterior interdental papillae in an adult female patient. Methodology: A 40-year-old female underwent a crown-lengthening procedure with guidance provided by a surgical template to correct unsatisfactory aesthetics in the anterior gingiva and prosthesis. Results: The patient’s functional and aesthetic expectations were met successfully with interdisciplinary treatment, including surgical crown lengthening and the placement of all-ceramic restorations. Conclusions: This case showed that satisfactory anterior aesthetics can be achieved by comprehensive examination, careful planning of treatment employing a surgical guide, and prosthodontist–periodontist teamwork, even in the complete absence of interdental papillae.  How to cite this article: Kılıç D, Alkan BA, Kılıç K. Abstract Early diagnosis of white spot lesions allows non-invasive treatment to be indicated for the remineralization of active lesions. The goal was to report the clinical Protocol for the treatment of white spot lesion of a patient by the technique of resin infiltration, observing whether there is change of color on the white spot of the dental enamel after its treatment. The selected patient was 16 years old with good overall health, who featured white spot lesion of the dental enamel on tooth 13, classified as ICDAS score 2. The tooth was photographed, and its color was evaluated with the spectrophotometer in accordance with the CIELhC system. For comparison purposes, the color of tooth enamel in an area adjacent to the lesion was evaluated. The treatment of the lesion was performed with the resin infiltrate Icon (DMG, Hamburg, Germany), following the manufacturer's instructions. The color of the tooth was re-evaluated after the application of the resin infiltrate. At the end of the procedure, it was observed that the treatment of white spot lesion by resin infiltration technique reached its goal because, in addition to being minimally invasive, it was highly approved by patient and it provided the masking of the white spot lesion on the dental enamel. Keywords: Dental Caries. Dental Enamel. Composite Resins. ResumoO diagnóstico precoce de lesões de mancha branca permite que um tratamento não invasivo seja indicado para a remineralização das lesões ativas. O objetivo foi relatar o protocolo clínico para tratamento de lesão de mancha branca ativa de um paciente pela técnica do infiltrante resinoso, observando se existe alteração de cor da mancha branca do esmalte dental após o seu tratamento. Foi selecionada uma paciente, de 16 anos de idade, com boa saúde geral e que apresentava lesão de mancha branca no esmalte dental do dente 13, classificada pelo escore 2 do ICDAS. O dente foi fotografado e sua cor foi avaliada com o espectrofotômetro de acordo com o sistema CIELhC. Para fins de comparação, foi avaliada a cor do esmalte dental em uma área adjacente à lesão. O tratamento da lesão foi realizado com a resina infiltrante Icon (DMG, Hamburgo, Alemanha), seguindo as recomendações do fabricante.  A cor do dente foi reavaliada após a aplicação do infiltrante. Ao final do procedimento, observou-se que o tratamento da lesão de mancha branca pela técnica da resina infiltrante atingiu seu objetivo pois, além de ter sido minimamente invasiva, foi bem avaliada pela paciente e proporcionou o mascaramento da lesão de mancha branca do esmalte dental. Palavras-chave: Cárie Dentária. Minimal Intervention Dentistry (MID), a concept that aims to minimize the interventional procedures applied on teeth affected by dental caries, emphasizes the importance of prevention and detection of lesions in early stage. The white spot lesion (WSL) is the first visible stage of the carious process, affecting the enamel. Their detection and treatment has been significantly improved in the last decade through new technology available. Our paper describes a non-invasive detection method, using a lighttransmission device (transillumination of the teeth using Diagnocam, by Kavo) , combined with a resin infiltration technique (using Icon, by DMG) of the WSL.

Complete crown fracture is a dental injury affecting enamel, dentin, and pulp and unfortunately crown is lost usually due to loss of tooth structure. Root-crown lengthening can be performed if an acceptable root-crown ratio is preserved for the retention of root. This paper presents a case report of a mandibular canine incisor tooth having complete crown fracture. Root-crown lengthening is performed by surgical extrusion of the root coronally, splintted using a semi-rigid splint and prognosis was successful after one year later. Treatment of complete crown fracture by surgical extrusion and splintting may be a good alternative for general practitioners since it is an easy and short time requiring technique necessiating less equipments.  How to cite this article: Yiğit Özer S, Uysal İ, Bahşi E.
