Jogos educacionais são ferramentas relevantes no processo de ensino-aprendizagem e podem tornar o ensino de circuitos lógicos mais lúdico. Assumindo isso, este trabalho propõe o desenvolvimento de um jogo educativo para o ensino de circuitos lógicos. O jogo proposto, chamado Logicæ, está disponível nas plataformas: Desktop (sistemas operacionais Linux, e Microsoft Windows), móveis (sistemas operacionais Android), e WEB. Uma vez que a mecânica do jogo permite a simulação de portas lógicas de forma lúdica e interativa, espera-se que Logicæ facilite o ensino de circuitos lógicos nas disciplinas de Arquitetura de computadores, Algoritmos e Lógica de Programação, e Linguagem de Programação. Entretanto, Logicæ não foi aplicado em uma disciplina até o momento; consequentemente, a eficácia do jogo como ferramenta de ensino requer avaliação adequada.

The name Alview is a contraction of the term Alignment Viewer. Alview is a compiled to native architecture software tool for visualizing the alignment of sequencing data. Inputs are files of short-read sequences aligned to a reference genome in the SAM/BAM format and files containing reference genome data. Outputs are visualizations of these aligned short reads. Alview is written in portable C with optional graphical user interface (GUI) code written in C, C++, and Objective-C. The application can run in three different ways: as a web server, as a command line tool, or as a native, GUI program. Alview is compatible with Microsoft Windows, Linux, and Apple OS X. It is available as a web demo at https://cgwb.nci.nih.gov/cgi-bin/alview . The source code and Windows/Mac/Linux executables are available via https://github.com/NCIP/alview .

Delphi adalah sebuah bahasa pemrograman dan lingkungan pengembangan perangkat lunak. Produk ini dikembangkan oleh CodeGear sebagai divisi pengembangan perangkat lunak milik Embarcadero, divisi tersebut sebelumnya adalah milik Borland. Bahasa Delphi, atau dikenal pula sebagai object pascal (pascal dengan ekstensi pemrograman berorientasi objek (PBO/OOP)) pada mulanya ditujukan hanya untuk Microsoft Windows, namun saat ini telah mampu digunakan untuk mengembangkan aplikasi untuk Linux dan Microsoft.NET framework. Saat ini Delphi menjadi bagian dari jajaran IDE milik Embarcadero Technologies setelah Embarcadero Technologies mengakui CodeGear, anak perusahaan Borland yang menangani tool pengembangan aplikasi. Pada tanggal 8 Februari 2006, Borland mengumumkan akan melepas seluruh jajaran produk pengembangan aplikasi komputernya termasuk di antaranya Delphi. Saat ini Delphi menjadi bagian dari jajaran IDE milik Embarcadero Technologies setelah Embarcadero Technologies mengakuisisi CodeGear, anak perusahaan Borland yang menangani tool pengembangan aplikasi.

Teknologi virtualisasi dalam dunia komputasi saat ini menjadi topik hangat untuk diperbincangkan dalam pembahasan riset teknologi yang dipergunakan pada server. Virtualisasi dan kontainer merupakan bagian yang sangat penting dalam pengoptimalisasian server, karena sangat berpengaruh pada efisiensi pengelolaan resource infrastruktur server itu sendiri. Pembuatan sebuah server yang baik membutuhkan biaya yang tidak sedikit apalagi untuk membangun hingga menjadi sebuah cloud computing. Supaya biaya dapat ditekan dan murah maka digunakanlah virtualisasi server. Virtualisasi server ialah membangun server pada sebuah komputer atau laptop menggunakan media machineware. Dalam VM tersebut dibangun beberapa server dengan sistem operasi berbeda, baik dari Microsoft Windows maupun Linux dengan variannya, semua sistem operasi berjalan bersamaan. Proxmox merupakan software open source Virtualization Platform untuk menjalankan Virtual Appliance dan Virtual Machine. Proxmox VE adalah distro khusus yang didedikasikan secara khusus sebagai mesin host virtualisasi sistem dan memuat 2 teknologi virtualisasi, yaitu KVM dan OpenVZ. Dari basil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ProxmoxVE dapat menjalankan mesin virtual secara penuh layaknya baremetal hypervisor. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan berjalannya beberapa VM dalam satu server untuk menjalankan sistem maupun aplikasi yang dipergunakan pada institusi tersebut sehingga dapat menekan pengeluaran biaya untuk pembelian server.

VALMAP2.0 is a Microsoft-Windows-based program designed to assist material scientists in accurate structural investigations. The aim ofVALMAPis to calculate the sum of bond valences that a particular atom would have if it were placed at any arbitrary point in the crystal. By movement of this atom through all possible points, its valence-sum contour map can be displayed. Parameters of the bond-valence model are available and may be modified. The program was tested in a number of cases and two examples of applications are reported: (i) finding probable atom sites in crystal structures; (ii) displacive and order–disorder phase transition mechanisms, analysing steric effects.
