<p>Reverse engineering is an important process employed by both attackers seeking to gain entry to a system as well as the security engineers that protect it. While there are numerous tools developed for this purpose, they often can be tedious to use and rely on prior obtained domain knowledge. After examining a number of contemporary tools, we design and implement a de-noising tool that reduces the human effort needed to perform reverse engineering. The tool takes snapshots of a target program's memory as the user consistently interacts with it. By comparing changes across multiple sets of snapshots, consistent changes in memory that could be attributed to the user action are identified. We go on to demonstrate its use on three Windows applications: Minesweeper, Solitaire and Notepad++. Through assistance from the de-noising tool, we were able to discover information such as the location of mines and values of cards in these two games before they are revealed, and the data structure used for input to Notepad++.</p>

Abstract This paper investigates software attacks based on shellcode injection in Windows applications. The attack uses platform invoke to inject binary code by means of system calls. This creates a separate threat that carries the payload. The paper overviews protections against shellcode injection and thus analyzes the injection methods as well. Analysis models the injection of malicious code in a Windows app process. As a result, the paper proposes a step-by-step injection method. Experimental injection of user code in PowerShell is performed to test the method. The paper further shows the assembly code of the system call as an example of finding their IDs in the global system call table; it also shows part of the source code for the injection of binary executable code. Various counterattacks are proposed in the form of software control modules based on architecture drivers. The paper analyzes the feasibility of using dynamic invoke, which the authors plan to do later on.

The paper presents several integrated high frequency antenna prototypes based on Si/CMOS and on-glass technologies for millimeter-wave (mm-wave) applications. On-chip loop antenna and dipole radiator are presented. In addition, a wide-band dipole-patch antenna design for the range of 74 – 104 GHz is integrated into a CMOS chip with an on-chip pulse generator. In addition, an implementation of a fully on-Silicon antenna array integrated with a timed-array transmitter. To control the beam-forming of this array, a digital-based time adjustment circuit is integrated together with the antenna array. Simulated and measured data including return loss, and radiation patterns are presented. This paper also introduces an on-glass antenna prototypes fabricated on quartz substrate. The on-glass antenna is to demonstrate for handset or automobile’s windshield/windows applications where radio waves could be transmitted and received from various directions. The results show several compact antenna candidates integrated by both Silicon and quartz substrates towards mm-Wave/sub-mm-Wave sensing and communication applications.

This study aims to: 1. find out the influence of leadership style on community participation in Sereang Village, Maritengngae District, Sidenreng Rappang Regency. 2. To find out the factors that influence the leadership style in Sereang Village, Maritengngae District, Sidenreng Rappang Regency. The population in this study is 779, with a sample of 78 people. The sampling technique used is random sampling or random sampling. Data collection techniques used 1. Observations 2. library studies 3. cetets (questionnaire). The collected data is then analyzed with the help of SPSS 16 for Windows applications. The results showed that 1. the influence of leadership style on community participation in Sereang Village Maritengngae District, Sidenreng Rappang District was in the unfavorable category with a percentage of 31.7%. 2. What factors influence the leadership style in Sereang Village, Maritengngae District, Sidenreng Rappang Regency are: Strength based on coercion (17.7%), Strength of appreciation (26%), Strength of expertise (19.5%), Official strength (11 , 9%), Strength of reference (14.4%).
