Abstract In recent years, one-particle potentials (OPPs) derived from neutron-diffraction data have become a popular means to estimate activation energies of ion migration in solids. Computer programs for their calculation, however, have mostly been private in-house solutions. The software CalcOPP presented herein permits calculating two- or three-dimensional OPPs either from probability density functions put out by the crystallographic suite Jana2006/ Jana2020 (including error maps) or from scattering-density maps reconstructed using the maximum entropy method (MEM) implementation Dysnomia. The title program is open-source, written in modern free-form Fortran and Python 3, and available free of charge under the permissive MIT License. Executables are published for 64-bit Microsoft Windows and Linux platforms and can be controlled via an intuitive graphical user interface or via command-line interface. Depending on the kind of input, CalcOPP’s output is readily visualized with standard crystallographic software or plotting applications. The release of the program not only makes the rather powerful OPP method more transparent, but it also opens it up to a broader, less programming-oriented public.

Teknologi Virtual Reality merupakan salah satu teknologi yang semakin berkembang dan diminati pada saat ini, dikarenakan potensi penerapannya yang sangat luas pada berbagai bidang. Teknologi Virtual Reality merupakan teknologi yang memungkinkan manusia berinteraksi dengan komputer maupun dengan manusia lain melalui lingkungan virtual yang meniru indra manusia secara alamiah, dengan kata lain mencakup penglihatan dan pendengaran. Penelitian ini membahas perancangan, realisasi, serta analisis sebuah sistem Virtual Reality nirkabel dengan berbasis WLAN, menggunakan perangkat keras yang tersedia pada masyarakat yakni perangkat smartphone. Mengutamakan penerapan praktis dengan teknologi yang tersedia pada masyarakat dibandingkan kualitas keseluruhan sistem. Sistem operasi yang digunakan adalah Microsoft Windows 10 untuk PC dan Android versi 6.0.1 untuk smartphone. Menggunakan distribusi XAMPP pada PC/laptop Windows sebagai server HTTP. Media yang digunakan berupa video 360°/stereoskopik berformat mp4. Sistem Virtual Reality yang dirancang mampu menggunakan hotspot smartphone untuk melakukan streaming pada resolusi 1080s serta 720s. Rancangan luas ruangan yang dibuat adalah hingga 6x4 meter untuk konfigurasi dengan satu pemancar, dan hingga 6x8 meter untuk konfigurasi dengan dua pemancar. Batasan ukuran ruangan ini didasarkan pada titik penurunan kekuatan sinyal sebesar -3dB yang terjadi pada jarak 5 meter pada kedua resolusi, sehingga batasan jarak terjauh antara klien dan server adalah 5 meter.

Jogos educacionais são ferramentas relevantes no processo de ensino-aprendizagem e podem tornar o ensino de circuitos lógicos mais lúdico. Assumindo isso, este trabalho propõe o desenvolvimento de um jogo educativo para o ensino de circuitos lógicos. O jogo proposto, chamado Logicæ, está disponível nas plataformas: Desktop (sistemas operacionais Linux, e Microsoft Windows), móveis (sistemas operacionais Android), e WEB. Uma vez que a mecânica do jogo permite a simulação de portas lógicas de forma lúdica e interativa, espera-se que Logicæ facilite o ensino de circuitos lógicos nas disciplinas de Arquitetura de computadores, Algoritmos e Lógica de Programação, e Linguagem de Programação. Entretanto, Logicæ não foi aplicado em uma disciplina até o momento; consequentemente, a eficácia do jogo como ferramenta de ensino requer avaliação adequada.

Background:Jack's self silencing theory is consequential in postulating how females form concepts about self, based on their relationships with valued others and if an attempt at it fails, then an extreme set of cognitive schemas ensues. These schemas are named as silencing of self. Jack has conjectured that silencing of self has purpose in manifestation and maintenance of depression. The manner in which it plays a role is different for both males and females, where initial theory and a plethora of research have found it to be higher in the later than in the former, while some have had contrary ndings. The existing pool of research does not give explorations of these variables in an Indian context. Therefore this study is a humble effort to make these inquisitions. Method: The study was conducted on the patients undergoing treatment for depression in Dayanand Medical College and Hospital. The study was undertaken involving 100 cases of depression and 100 healthy volunteers as controls after obtaining ethical clearance and informed consent of all the study subjects. Information was collected via predesigned questionnaires. All statistical calculations were done using SPSS 21 version statistical program for Microsoft Windows. Conclusion: Results showed that depressed subjects showed higher silencing of self as compared to their non-depressed counter parts. Overall, males showed higher silencing of self as compared to females.

Komputer sudah mengalami perkembangan yang begitu pesat dan tidak bisa dibandingkan lagi seperti dulu ketika pertama kali diperkenalkan. Tidak hanya untuk menyimpan data-data, melakukan operasi Matematika, dan menjalankan Aplikasi, namun sejalan dengan semakin meningkatnya performa perangkat maupun software, sarananya menjadi semakin berkembang dalam berbagai semua aspek kehidupan pada saat ini. Salah satunya bagian terpenting dalam sistem komputer adalah sistem operasi. Penggunaan sistem operasi windows 7 masih berada pada posisi teratas selama tahun 2015 dengan pengguna maksimal diatas 50%. Sedangkan selanjutnya, windows 8 hingga 10, meskipun mengalami perkembangan kemajuan yang positif (naik), namun kenikannya tidaklah stabil. Fungsinya adalah untuk mengontrol program-program yang telah diberikan dari perangkat lunak, perangkat keras dan sistem lainnya yang berada di dalam komputer. Data is an important thing as a base of an analytic or a hypothesis for concluding participant vote data in the Indonesian General Election. The data needs to be processed and secured, so the integrity of the data is in good condition. It also needs to protect the participant voting rights, so the information is correctly displayed. The research problems include creating a system that protects the integrity of election data and creating a system that protects election rights for each voter. Based on the problems, this research discusses a blockchain-based electronic voting information system that would secure the integrity of data and also protecting the participant voting rights in a General Election. The system uses Ethereum as a blockchain with Solidity as a programming language to build a smart contract and is built in Microsoft Windows platform. In this research, consortium blockchain and biometric fingerprint authentication are used as a problem-solving method, and waterfall steps is used as a system development method. The result of this research is a proposed design of the e-voting system. The conclusion based on this research is a blockchain-based e-voting system that secures the integrity of the data in a selection process and ensures protection to each vote right.   Index Terms—Authentication; Blockchain; Data; Integrity; E-Voting; System

In this article, an iterative, bracketing and derivative-free method have been proposed with the second-order of convergence for the solution of non-linear equations. The proposed method derives from the Stirling interpolation technique, Stirling interpolation technique is the process of using points with known values or sample points to estimate values at unknown points or polynomials. All types of problems (taken from literature) have been tested by the proposed method and compared with existing methods (regula falsi method, secant method and newton raphson method) and it’s noted that the proposed method is more rapidly converges as compared to all other existing methods. All problems were solved by using MATLAB Version: 8.3.0.532 (R2014a) on my personal computer with specification Intel(R) Core (TM) i3-4010U CPU @ 1.70GHz with RAM 4.00GB and Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Enterprise Version 10.0, 64-Bit Server, x64-based processor.


Calculation intensive courses lead to the need to integrate computer technology into the classroom, especially in courses such as The Refrigeration and air conditioning at then Dronacharya College of Engineering Gurugram (Haryana). Therefore the opportunity arises for the implementation of interactive tools for ease of calculations. Once the students have mastered the concepts and ability to perform the necessary manual calculations, computer programs can be used to allow the students to study more advanced topics in the material without being bogged down in the calculations. To ease the considerable calculations involved in solving vapor-compression refrigeration (VCR) cycle. This program has recently been revised to be compatible with the Microsoft Windows operating environment prevalent today in engineering software. In addition, a fourth refrigerant, R-134a, was added to account for the addition of new refrigerants in use today. Another modification made to the program was the addition of a tutorial for the thermal system analysis of a VCR cycle. This tutorial emulates the general solution methodology used in the course and reinforces the concepts with the students. The program is available via current web pages for the described course.
