En el curso dictado en Collège de France sobre la institución y la pasividad, Merleau-Ponty le otorgó una importancia particular a las problemáticas freudianas. La sexualidad y muy especialmente el Complejo de Edipo, es presentado como ejemplo de la institución humana en un doble sentido: en cuanto clase de institución que se diferencia de la institución vital y como una institución antropomórfica. Sus momentos –sexualidad prepuberal, periodo de latencia, pubertad– ejemplifican la estructura de toda institución: la anticipación, el desvío y la reanudación y ponen de manifiesto su temporalidad propia. En vistas a la importancia del Complejo de Edipo en la arquitectura general del curso, el presente trabajo tiene por objetivo reponer la interpretación realizada por Merleau-Ponty a los efectos de comprender la especificidad de la institución humana. De este modo, se pretende realizar una aproximación al vínculo entre temporalidad e institución tal como Merleau-Ponty lo considera en el curso en cuestión.In the course dictated in Collège de France on the institution and the passiveness, Merleau-Ponty granted a particular importance to the Freudian problematics. The sexuality and very specially the Complex of Oedipus, is presented as example of the human institution in a double meaning: regarding a type of institution that differs from the vital institution and as an anthropomorphic institution. Its moments – prepuberal sexuality, period of latency, puberty –exemplify the structure of any institution: the anticipation, the detour and the resumption and they reveal his own temporality. In conference to the importance of the Complex of Oedipus in the general architecture of the course, the present work has for aim re-put the  interpretation realized by Merleau-Ponty to the effects of understanding the specificity of the human institution. Thus, one tries to realize an approximation to the link between temporality and institution as Merleau-Ponty considers it in the course in question.

Émile Benveniste was a French linguist of Sephardic descent, born in 1902 in Aleppo in what was then the Ottoman Empire. A specialist in comparative Indo-European grammar and, in the interwar years, a student of Ferdinand de Saussure’s follower Antoine Meillet at the École pratique des hautes Études in Paris, he held the chair of linguistics at the Collège de France from 1937 to 1970.1 Having published widely since 1935, Benveniste came to prominence outside the field of linguistics in 1956, when he contributed a famous article on the function of language in Freud to the first issue of Jacques Lacan’s early journal, La psychanalyse.2 From 1960 onwards, at the height of structuralism’s influence, he founded and co-edited another journal, L’homme, alongside the anthropologist Claude LÉvi-Strauss and the geographer Pierre Gourou.

AbstractCrowdfunding is a method of financing new ventures, commercial, cultural or social, often in return for future products or actions, engaged in by many investors. Currently, it is an important element in the structure of available sources of financing for investment projects. Despite the interest of potential investors, individual social sponsors and large-scale activities of institutions promoting knowledge about the functioning of crowdfunding aimed at encouraging and promoting it as a source of capital for new ventures, there is a lack of knowledge and, consequently, experience on its development and achievement. The aim of this study is to analyze this source of financing, assess its development globally and in Poland. In the preparation of the article,. a critical analysis of foreign and Polish literature was carried out, and descriptive and comparative research methods applied. The research task undertaken in the study was to analyze the crowdfunding market globally and in Poland. The Polish crowdfunding platforms were detailed and compared in terms of value in relation to the largest global platforms. The source for analyses of crowdfunding development in Poland was available literature on the analyzed topic and secondary data from the websites of specialized internet platforms. The article depicts a new, but important, aspect of financing the activity of enterprises, which is crowdfunding. It should be emphasized that there is still insufficient knowledge about this type of institution and, as a result, the importance and role that social financing plays in the financial market.

Trois journées d'études consacrées à Jean-Jacques Rousseau viennent d'avoir lieu au Collège de France du 16 au 18 octobre. Organisées par le Comité National pour la commémoration de J.-J. Rousseau (Président d'honneur : M. Jean Pommier ; Président : M. Jean Fabre ; Secrétaire : M. Grosclaude), elles entraient dans le cadre des manifestations destinées à célébrer le bi-centenaire des grandes oeuvres du « citoyen de Genève ». Après l'Université de Dijon (Journées d'études du 3 au 6 mai), l'Institut Universitaire des Hautes Études Internationales de Genève (Colloque des 16 et 17 juillet) la société J.-J. Rousseau (Entretiens de Royaumont du 28 juin au 1er juillet sur le thème : « J.-J. Rousseau et l'homme moderne »), l'Université de Paris et le Comité National rendaient ainsi hommage à l'un des plus grands penseurs du xviiie siècle. Le nombre et la qualité des participants français et étrangers donnaient un intérêt particulier à ce congrès. Vingt-quatre communications furent présentées, qui portaient sur les aspects les plus divers de la personnalité et de l'oeuvre de Rousseau.

Tant de Souvenirs renaissent en moi. J'aurai été, sans prétention, un des quelques rares à le bien connaître pendant de nombreuses années, à Strasbourg d'abord, puis à Paris, et, partant, à mieux apprécier aussi ce qu'il y avait en lui de discrétion et de pudeur, de sentiments secrets, derrière les boutades, les foucades de sa parole, de ses écrits, publics et plus encore privés, au point qu'on n'écrira bien sur sa personne et son œuvre qu'une fois dépouillée sa correspondance, abondante mais fort dispersée à travers le monde ; car il a beaucoup écrit de lettres : révélatrices de son tempérament, elles ressuscitent vraiment pour le destinataire privilégié cette Présence de Lucien Febvre, selon le titre des pages les plus délicates inspirées par l'affection à Fernand Braudel, son successeur au Collège de France d'abord, et, depuis, à l'Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes, au seuil même de l'Hommage qu'avait essayé d'être pour ses 75 ans (en 1954) l'Eventail de l'histoire vivante.

Si je signale la leçon d'ouverture, que prononça au Collège de France M. Roger Dion, en prenant possession le 4 décembre 1948 de la chaire de Géographie historique de la France, chaire nouvelle, ou mieux, renouvelée — c'est qu'après avoir défini cette géographie « à la fois comme une archéologie, une histoire de l'occupation du sol et une interprétation du paysage humanisé », le nouveau professeur a réagi nettement (p. 13) « contre ceux qui, oubliant leur dette envers Vidal de la Blache, voudraient que la géographie fût présentée aux étudiants de nos Universités comme naturellement indifférente au passé ». Il a fort bien parlé, dans sa leçon, d'une autre dette : celle des géographes envers Michelet.

oriC is a region of the bacterial chromosome at which the initiator protein DnaA interacts with specific sequences, leading to DNA unwinding and the initiation of chromosome replication. The general architecture of oriCs is universal; however, the structure of oriC and the mode of orisome assembly differ in distantly related bacteria. In this work, we characterized oriC of Helicobacter pylori, which consists of two DnaA box clusters and a DNA unwinding element (DUE); the latter can be subdivided into a GC-rich region, a DnaA-trio and an AT-rich region. We show that the DnaA-trio submodule is crucial for DNA unwinding, possibly because it enables proper DnaA oligomerization on ssDNA. However, we also observed the reverse effect: DNA unwinding, enabling subsequent DnaA–ssDNA oligomer formation—stabilized DnaA binding to box ts1. This suggests the interplay between DnaA binding to ssDNA and dsDNA upon DNA unwinding. Further investigation of the ts1 DnaA box revealed that this box, together with the newly identified c-ATP DnaA box in oriC1, constitute a new class of ATP–DnaA boxes. Indeed, in vitro ATP–DnaA unwinds H. pylori oriC more efficiently than ADP–DnaA. Our results expand the understanding of H. pylori orisome formation, indicating another regulatory pathway of H. pylori orisome assembly.
