Inventory ensures stability of the production technical system. Production facilities have warehouses for workpieces to create final output parts, and warehouses for finished products to meet customer demand. Stocks of workpieces avoid manufacturing downtime. Stocks of finished products make it possible to meet demand in a timely manner and avoid penalties for late deliveries of finished products to consumers. On the other hand, the objects that make up the inventory are «dead» material resources that do not bring profit and negatively affect economic efficiency and competitiveness. According to published data, in economically developed countries, such as the USA, Japan, Germany and others, up to 30–40 % of production is in stocks. All this indicates the relevance of the issue of optimising the level of reserves, of solving the problem of establishing and maintaining the optimal level of the stock, its timely replenishment, considering time required for execution of applications of end users. The objective of the work is to propose a solution to a stochastic logistic problem of inventory management with a random time delay and random demand, obtained by the authors using the methods of mathematical statistics, mathematical modelling, and production logistics for unknown and arbitrary form of distribution functions of demand and time delay. The work provides specific examples of approaches to implementation of suggested solution.

By leveraging Phonology-to-Semantics Consistency (PSC, Amenta, Marelli & Sulpizio, 2017), which quantifies form-meaning systematicity as the semantic similarity between a target word and its phonological nearest neighbors, wedocument a unique effect of systematicity on Age of Acquisition (AoA). This effect is also found after controlling for theeffect of neighbourhood density measured for word forms and lexical semantics and several other standard predictorsof AoA. Moreover, we show that the effect of systematicity is not reducible to iconicity. Finally, we extensively probethe reliability of this finding by testing different statistical models, analyzing systematicity in phonology and orthographyand implementing random baselines, reporting a robust, unique negative effect of systematicity on AoA, such thatmore systematic words tend to be learned earlier. We discuss the findings in the light of studies on non-arbitrary form-meaning mappings and their role in language learning, focusing on the analogical process at the interface of form andmeaning upon which PSC is based and how it could help children infer the semantics of novel words when context isscarce or uninformative, ultimately speeding up word learning.

In this research paper, a simple integration scheme is executed to secure new dark and singular soliton solutions for the highly dispersive nonlinear Schrödinger’s equation having Kudryashov’s arbitrary form with generalized nonlocal laws and sextic-power law refractive index.

This paper considers elastic isotropic plates in the form of isosceles triangles with combined boundary conditions (a combination of hinged support and rigid restraint conditions along the sides of the contour). Calculations were performed using FEM to determine the integral physical characteristics in the considered problems F (the maximum deflection of uniformly loaded plates w0 and the fundamental frequency of oscillations in the unloaded state ω). On the basis of the obtained numerical results, approximating functions have been constructed: "maximum deflection - form factor of plates", "basic frequency of oscillations - form factor of plates", the structure of which corresponds to the structure of similar formulas obtained when presenting known exact solutions in the corresponding problems of technical theory of plates in isoperimetric form. Based on the properties of the form factor of plates, these approximating functions limit the whole set of considered integral physical quantities and therefore can be used as reference solutions for the calculation of triangular plates of arbitrary form applying the method of interpolation by form factor (MIFF). We consider an example of calculation of a plate in the form of a rectangular triangle with hinged support of the sides.
