PENERAPAN JAVASCRIPTY REACT UNTUK APLIKASI CHAT ROOM BERBASIS WEB

Aplikasi chat room merupakan hasil dari pengembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi. Aplikasi ini memungkinkan pengguna untuk berdiskusi dalam sebuah room atau group chatting yang bisa diakses dimanapun dan kapanpun dan menggunakan perangkat apapun (perangkat mobile atau komputer). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah aplikasi chat room dengan menerapkan kedua teknologi tersebut. Metode pengembangan sistem yang akan digunakan adalah dengan metode pengembangan sistem Prototype yang dipa,ndang cocok dengan aplikasi yang akan dibuat. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah sebuah aplikasi chat room yang dapat digunakan atau diterapkan ke aplikasi lain yang lebih besar yang membutuhkan sebuah fitur chat room. Dalam pengembangannya, React.js akan berperan sebagai library di sisi klien dan Javascript akan beran di sisi backend atau server dibantu library lainnya.

Critical Issues in the Science of Reading: Striving for a Wide-Angle View in Research

This report reflects a panel presentation and discussion at the 2020 Literacy Research Conference focused on the science of reading (SoR). Each panelist presents a summary of the presentation and incorporates the comments of the Literacy Research Association (LRA) members attending the session virtually and posting in the chat room. Each presentation takes a critical stance on the possibilities for expanding the lens for the SoR. Concerns are raised regarding the narrow interpretation of the SoR and impact of this narrow conception on research, theory, and practice.

E-commerce is the modern business practice. It includes buying and selling of goods and services, or the transmitting of funds, over the Internet Nowadays E-commerce (Electronic commerce) is the standard for both marketers and the customers making them go online across the world. E-commerce is just another way to boost the existing business practices for scalability. It is resulting in a complete change in the traditional way of doing business. A massive internet consumption has added to growth of E-commerce and more particularly start-ups have been increasingly using this option as a differentiating business model. Moreover a feature which is a chat room can be added to enhance the user experience which we will be discussing here.

The Hidden Center in Domestic Violence Shelter Fields of Power A Structural Analysis of Primary Source Agents Situated Within the ‘Domestic Violence Shelter’ Field through the Lens of Bourdieu’s Center-Periphery Axis.

This paper is an exploratory study that uses Bourdieu’s ‘Field of Power’ theory to contextualize and place the expressed and hidden centers of power within the domestic violence shelter system, as a function of direct feedback from agents within that system. Data for the study was collected from Reddit, a popular ‘chat-room’ style forum for a variety of social and technical issues. Direct feedback about domestic violence shelter experiences from all participants in that ecosystem was coded based on agent/power dynamics. Results from the study indicate that certain actors within the domestic violence shelter system, namely abusers represent a hidden center of power.

The Icon and Interface of the Journaling Design of the Ace Diary Mobile App

The Ace Diary is an online counseling app that provides art therapy features, receptive music therapy, journaling, a chat room, emergency calling, loving quotes, and scheduling based on quadrant-time of 4th generation time management information architecture. Furthermore, counselors can monitor activities on the app. These features had not been integrated before, which is why a basic design was developed for this purpose by using the M. Asimov model to design this app. The visual strategy used for showing a typical journaling diary is lines with brushstroke and calming pastel colors. Ace Diary has six primary pages: drawing, venting, scheduling, room chat and calling, quotes, and record tracking. The different group pages have different background colors so that audiences can distinguish the page’s functions. Students’ picture profiles are created using an illustration in the same design style to keep identities confidential.
