<p style='text-indent:20px;'>In the present paper, we consider a general class of operators enriched with some properties in order to act on <inline-formula><tex-math id="M1">\begin{document}$ C^{\ast }( \mathbb{R} _{0}^{+}) $\end{document}</tex-math></inline-formula>. Then, a quantitative result is proved. A quantitative Voronovskaya-type estimate is obtained. Finally, some applications are provided concerning particular kernel functions.</p>

We discuss the dyadic John–Nirenberg space that is a generalization of functions of bounded mean oscillation. A John–Nirenberg inequality, which gives a weak type estimate for the oscillation of a function, is discussed in the setting of medians instead of integral averages. We show that the dyadic maximal operator is bounded on the dyadic John–Nirenberg space and provide a method to construct nontrivial functions in the dyadic John–Nirenberg space. Moreover, we prove that the John–Nirenberg space is complete. Several open problems are also discussed.

AbstractThe Hardy-Littlewood maximal operator M satisfies the classical Sawyer-type estimate $$\begin{aligned} \left\| \frac{Mf}{v}\right\| _{L^{1,\infty }(uv)} \le C_{u,v} \Vert f \Vert _{L^{1}(u)}, \end{aligned}$$ Mf v L 1 , ∞ ( u v ) ≤ C u , v ‖ f ‖ L 1 ( u ) , where $$u\in A_1$$ u ∈ A 1 and $$uv\in A_{\infty }$$ u v ∈ A ∞ . We prove a novel extension of this result to the general restricted weak type case. That is, for $$p>1$$ p > 1 , $$u\in A_p^{{\mathcal {R}}}$$ u ∈ A p R , and $$uv^p \in A_\infty $$ u v p ∈ A ∞ , $$\begin{aligned} \left\| \frac{Mf}{v}\right\| _{L^{p,\infty }(uv^p)} \le C_{u,v} \Vert f \Vert _{L^{p,1}(u)}. \end{aligned}$$ Mf v L p , ∞ ( u v p ) ≤ C u , v ‖ f ‖ L p , 1 ( u ) . From these estimates, we deduce new weighted restricted weak type bounds and Sawyer-type inequalities for the m-fold product of Hardy-Littlewood maximal operators. We also present an innovative technique that allows us to transfer such estimates to a large class of multi-variable operators, including m-linear Calderón-Zygmund operators, avoiding the $$A_\infty $$ A ∞ extrapolation theorem and producing many estimates that have not appeared in the literature before. In particular, we obtain a new characterization of $$A_p^{{\mathcal {R}}}$$ A p R . Furthermore, we introduce the class of weights that characterizes the restricted weak type bounds for the multi(sub)linear maximal operator $${\mathcal {M}}$$ M , denoted by $$A_{\mathbf {P}}^{{\mathcal {R}}}$$ A P R , establish analogous bounds for sparse operators and m-linear Calderón-Zygmund operators, and study the corresponding multi-variable Sawyer-type inequalities for such operators and weights. Our results combine mixed restricted weak type norm inequalities, $$A_p^{{\mathcal {R}}}$$ A p R and $$A_{\mathbf {P}}^{{\mathcal {R}}}$$ A P R weights, and Lorentz spaces.

AbstractWe show a Lichnerowicz-Obata type estimate for the first eigenvalue of the Laplacian of n-dimensional closed Riemannian manifolds with an almost parallel p-form ($$2\le p \le n/2$$ 2 ≤ p ≤ n / 2 ) in $$L^2$$ L 2 -sense, and give a Gromov-Hausdorff approximation to a product $$S^{n-p}\times X$$ S n - p × X under some pinching conditions when $$2\le p<n/2$$ 2 ≤ p < n / 2 .

AbstractWe make several remarks concerning properties of functions in parabolic De Giorgi classes of order p. There are new perspectives including a novel mechanism of propagating positivity in measure, the reservation of membership under convex composition, and a logarithmic type estimate. Based on them, we are able to give new proofs of known properties. In particular, we prove local boundedness and local Hölder continuity of these functions via Moser’s ideas, thus avoiding De Giorgi’s heavy machinery. We also seize this opportunity to give a transparent proof of a weak Harnack inequality for nonnegative members of some super-class of De Giorgi, without any covering argument.

AbstractWe study a system of quasilinear eigenvalue problems with Dirichlet boundary conditions on complete compact Riemannian manifolds. In particular, Cheng comparison estimates and the inequality of Faber–Krahn for the first eigenvalue of a {(p,q)}-Laplacian are recovered. Lastly, we reprove a Cheeger-type estimate for the p-Laplacian, {1<p<\infty}, from where a lower bound estimate in terms of Cheeger’s constant for the first eigenvalue of a {(p,q)}-Laplacian is built. As a corollary, the first eigenvalue converges to Cheeger’s constant as {p,q\to 1,1}.

AbstractThe aim of this paper is to get the product ${L}^{p}$-estimates, weighted estimates and two-weighted estimates for rough multilinear fractional integral operators and rough multi-sublinear fractional maximal operators, respectively. The author also studies two-weighted weak type estimate on product ${L}^{p}\left({\mathrm{\mathbb{R}}}^{n}\right)$ for rough multi-sublinear fractional maximal operators. In fact, this article is the rough kernel versions of [C. E. Kenig and E. M. Stein, “Multilinear estimates and fractional integration,” Math. Res. Lett., vol. 6, pp. 1–15, 1999, Y. Shi and X. X. Tao, “Weighted ${L}_{p}$ boundedness for multilinear fractional integral on product spaces,” Anal. Theory Appl., vol. 24, no. 3, pp. 280–291, 2008]'s results.

Let [Formula: see text], [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] be a matrix [Formula: see text] weight. In this paper, we introduce a version of variation [Formula: see text] for matrix Calderón–Zygmund operators with modulus of continuity satisfying the Dini condition. We then obtain the [Formula: see text]-boundedness of [Formula: see text] with norm [Formula: see text] by first proving a sparse domination of the variation of the scalar Calderón–Zygmund operator, and then providing a convex body sparse domination of the variation of the matrix Calderón–Zygmund operator. The key step here is a weak type estimate of a local grand maximal truncated operator with respect to the scalar Calderón–Zygmund operator.
