This chapter is based on a case study that highlights the digital entrepreneurship and innovation of an entrepreneurial venture and team aspiring to address cash flow management issues and pains faced by the micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Malaysia. The entrepreneurial team pioneered the revolutionization of the barter trade concept by developing a digital solution and platform branded as Kongsi (initially named Qu Exchange). Kongsi is a solution using digital trade points which act as a medium of exchange in replace of cash. This solution can solve cash flow problems faced by MSMEs with the creation of a non-cash alternative financing platform, combining and integrating the concept of barter trade and a point-based system. In this case study, the authors examined two critical success factors for digital entrepreneurship and innovation. This case study exemplifies a venture and entrepreneurial team capable of assembling strategic resources to create and sustain competitive advantages to survive and grow in a highly competitive FinTech environment.

A critical determinant of successful event management is the capacity to predict and monitor event costs and revenues. Cost blow-outs or lower than expected revenues can significantly impact an event’s financial performance, turn an anticipated profit into a loss, create major cash flow problems, and impair the financial health of an events business.

Abstract Nanofluids based on CNTs/ethylene glycol have a potential role in contributing to industrial applications like heat exchangers, domestic refrigerator, electronics cooling, etc. The aim and novelty of the present research is to communicate the significance of the Coriolis force and Darcy-Forchheimer stretched flow of ethylene glycol (EG) conveying carbon nanotubes (CNTs) in a rotating frame. Furthermore, entropy analysis is the main focus in this study. Two types of CNTs known as multiwalled (MWCNT) and single-walled (SWCNT) carbon nanotubes are considered. Ethylene glycol (EG) is treated as the base liquid. Xue’s model is utilized for the physical aspects of specific heat, density and thermal conductivity. The heat transfer mechanism is modeled through nonlinear thermal radiation, viscous dissipation and convective condition. The governing flow problems have been computed numerically via the NDSolve method. Outcomes for single-walled and multi-walled CNTs are arranged and compared. Our findings reveal that entropy generation is accompanied by an increasing trend in the Brinkman number and temperature ratio parameter. Temperature increases with the intensification of radiative and convective variables. Moreover, the temperature gradient has marginally larger values in the case of SWCNT, when compared with MWCNT.

Network interdiction problem arises when an unwanted agent attacks the network system to deteriorate its transshipment efficiency. Literature is flourished with models and solution approaches for the problem. This paper considers a single commodity lexicographic maximum flow problem on a directed network with capacitated vertices to study two network flow problems under an arc interdiction. In the first, the objective is to find an arc on input network to be destroyed so that the residual lexicographically maximum flow is lexicographically minimum. The second problem aims to find a flow pattern resulting lexicographically maximum flow on the input network so that the total residual flow, if an arc is destroyed, is maximum. The paper proposes strongly polynomial time solution procedures for these problems.
