Abstract Based on the photographic and CCD observations of the relative motion of the A and B components of the binary system ADS 9346 obtained with the 26-inch refractor of Pulkovo Observatory during 1979–2019, we discover an invisible companion associated with star A. Comparison of the ephemerides with the positional and spectroscopic observations allowed us to calculate the preliminary orbit of the photocenter (P = 15 yr). The minimal mass of the companion is approximately 0.13 M ⊙. The existence of the invisible low-mass companion is implied by the IR-excess based on IRAS data. To confirm this, additional observations of the radial velocity near the periastron need to be carried out.

Abstract In the frame of this study astrometric observations of an unusual object 2020 SO - a newly discovered asteroid that turned out to be a Centaur upper-stage booster from 1960s - during its two close approaches to the Earth in December, 2020 and February, 2021 were carried out using two telescopes of Pulkovo observatory. The orbit of the object in question was determined and its future orbital evolution was modelled.

The paper presents the results of observations of the Uranian and Neptunian satellites performed in 2020 with the 1-meter mirror telescope ‘Saturn’ (Pulkovo observatory) and the 350-mm guide telescope of the ‘Sintez’ telescope (Crimean observatory). More than 8 thousand separate positions of the satellites were obtained in the Gaia EDR3 catalog system. The average values of standard errors of the satellite normal place in right ascension and declination for the entire observation period, demonstrating the internal convergence of the observation results, lie within 10—50 mas.
