Child marriage, in the final analysis, is denial of childrens basic right. The practice also violates the prevailing law which sets a statutory age limitation for both men and women to marry at 19 years. The author seeks to analyse this legal-societal issue from Islamic law perspective. The analysis starts from the general observation that to prevent future dissent-disolvement of marriages, both parties should consider “rusyd”, in other words, their own or potential partners psychological, biological, and socio-economic maturity. In addition, to prevent child marriage, attention should be given to basic values of benefit (al mashlalah), the general principle of affection (mawaddah wa rahmah) and fulfillment of needs (taufir al-hajat).

Successful aging is a multi-faceted term with continuous attention while the human population is aging around the globe. The aging components differ while the world is changing, such as an increase in life expectancy or dramatic affection of the general COVID-19 pandemic. As aging is investigated in many disciplines, this research's focus is interdisciplinary to be able to reveal the acknowledgment of the benefits of the potential aging country. Therefore, aging is to be determined as a societal issue in this research under the lenses of continuous engagement with life. To that, the authors use fuzzy BWM approach to reveal the relations of components adopted from the MacArthur model of successful aging. Findings revealed that human capital development was the best factor whilst the relevance of successful aging was the worst factor in adopting relevant policies for successfully aging.

Wildfire news coverage gains importance not only for information provided, but for images created. Using 10 historically significant U.S. wildfires for analysis, with framing and social cohesion theory as framework, this study examines news cycles for news hook, theme and source usage. Results show agency personnel and citizens are nearly equal, with scientists later in coverage. Framing mirrors patterns in environmental reporting: presenting this hazard in capital terms rather than a social or societal issue.
