Subject. It is very important for corporate governance and a choice of partners to evaluate the company’s position. Therefore, bankruptcy forecast methods have been actively studied in theoretical and practical proceedings for a long time. Recurring crises and high market dynamics make the subject especially relevant. Objectives. I develop the instrumental method based on machine learning to predict corporate bankruptcy. The study also reviews data sources, the potential of forecasting models, and chooses inputs for company analysis. Methods. I applied methods of analysis and synthesis, and the systematization, formalization, comparative analysis. I referred to theoretical and methodological principles set forth in national and foreign proceedings on the company analysis and bankruptcy prediction. I investigate issues of data compilation, and building the artificial neural network for teaching the model. Results. I proposed and tested the instrumental method to predict bankruptcy. I suggest using my own sets of indicators for forecasting, which I selected by analyzing key indicators of financial sustainability, efficacy, and key external factors influencing market actors. The article presents a data sample for teaching purposes, which includes both the Russian and foreign companies, thus expanding its size. I devised machine learning models generating high-precision forecasts. Conclusions and Relevance. The findings contribute to bankruptcy prediction methods and can be used for administrative decision-making to automate their own analysis or analyze other entities, which the company cooperates with.

Background  This study investigates the role of digital media in LGBTQ social organizing through a textual and visual analysis of media produced by two Montréal-based event series: locally run open mic nights and dance parties hosted by an international company. Analysis  The authors’ analysis identified three influences of digital media: a) Facebook pages and linked materials framed boundaries of inclusion for physical gatherings; b) platforms and apps overlaid physical and digital instantiations of events; and c) platforms’ digital economies contributed to the precarity and risk associated with organizing and attending LGBTQ events. Conclusions and implications  The findings further demonstrate how geographic and social elements can be integrated into digital media to embed events within a local community. However, continued precarity and risk come with the use of digital media for grassroots LGBTQ social organizing. Additionally, commercial apps can gigify events without investing in local resources and people.

The safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics and efficacy of most drugs used in pediatrics have not been studied in different age groups and are administered “off-label use”. Clinical pediatric drug trials require specific and stringent compliance with laws, regulations, guidelines, and patient/parent/public involvement, which in turn increases resource use and makes support useful from a medical, qualitative, economic, and system perspective. We examined the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of implementing a Research Department for the Support of Pediatric Studies (RDPS) in Vienna. We used the SWOT (“strengths”, “weaknesses”, “opportunities”, and “threats”) analysis to collect comprehensive data and facts on the internal strengths, weaknesses (company analysis), and external opportunities and threats (environmental analysis). The company analysis revealed a productivity gain, due to a highly specialized team and standardized processes. The environmental analysis outlined a considerable 360-degree potential for a qualitative and quantitative medical- and social-scientific expansion of the service portfolio. The establishment of a RDPS leads to the centralization of pediatric studies by bundling tasks and concentration of specialist knowledge, which enables the exploitation of synergies, the standardization of processes, the promotion of professionalism, flexibility, innovations and the reduction of inefficiencies in the form of duplication of tasks. RDPS offers tailored advice and support for different types of pediatric studies.

Revenues generally classified as one that resourced from company’s normal activities and one that is not. Revenues resulted from normal activities usually obtained from goods or services selling relating to company’s main activities. Expenses are deducting factors of revenues to obtain profits and/or loss. Expenses arised form company’s activities are consisted of production costs, business costs and other costs. Gross profits is more actually operative in character when compared to operating profit, Even though gross profit is often perceived to normally depicting company’s normal activities, not all costs reflected in operating costs are directly related to the creation of revenues. The research is to analyse revenues and expenses recognition in a manufacturing company. Analysis is conducted to investigate whether or not the recognition of expenses and revenues run by the company is accountable to compile gross profit and then be used to evaluate the production department performance. The result shows that the company has properly recognised the revenues obtained, but not in the expenses part. This is due to the improper method used.
