This paper has given hardware configuration of monitoring system based on the process of the waste heat recovery system. It has described S7-300 PLC software design of the lower computer, and has created monitoring interface of the waste heat recovery system based on configuration software WinCC. In practice, the monitoring system has high reliability, friendly interface, and convenient operation is very suitable for waste heat recovery industry.

This paper analyzes the bag-making process and control requirements of paper and yarn compounding bag-making machine (PYCBMM). The overall control scheme is established. Configuration software WinCC Flexible 2008, Siemens touch panel MP377, Siemens PLC S7-200, Siemens frequency converter MM440, rotary encoder, color sensor, and other elements are synthetically applied to design the PYCBMM control system. During 12 months commissioning operation, the control system is stable, reliable, and easy to operate. All the technical indices outperform the design requirements.

In order to make concrete production more stable and efficient, a weighing and monitoring system is constituted which provides visualization of process and a powerful Human-Machine Interface by SIMATIC WinCC. After WinCC configuration software has connected with PLC effectively, data can be transmitted to and received from PLC through communication by HMI screen. Then, PLC can control the field devices independently rely on its high reliability and high anti-jamming capability. This kind of monitoring system is more efficient than other non-automatic control systems, and it improves accuracy and reduces the production time. Monitoring concrete production through WinCC can save manpower, reduce raw material waste, improve the level of automation and production efficiency. It provides a new control method for concrete production.
