Low-density parity-check (LDPC) codes have become the focal choice for next-generation Internet of things (IoT) networks. This correspondence proposes an efficient decoding algorithm, dual min-sum (DMS), to estimate the first two minima from a set of variable nodes for check-node update (CNU) operation of min-sum (MS) LDPC decoder. The proposed architecture entirely eliminates the large-sized multiplexing system of sorting-based architecture which results in a prominent decrement in hardware complexity and critical delay. Specifically, the DMS architecture eliminates a large number of comparators and multiplexors while keeping the critical delay equal to the most delay-efficient tree-based architecture. Based on experimental results, if the number of inputs is equal to 64, the proposed architecture saves 69%, 68%, and 52% area over the sorting-based, the tree-based, and the low-complexity tree-based architectures, respectively. Furthermore, the simulation results show that the proposed approach provides an excellent error-correction performance in terms of bit error rate (BER) and block error rate (BLER) over an additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) channel.

Abstract Ambient backscatter communication has become a low-cost and green solution to next-generation Internet-of-Things (IoT). In this paper, we investigate a problem of wireless covert communication in backscatter communication system. The purpose of covert communication is to hide the process of communication and avoid being detected by eavesdropper. Covert messages are modulated into a random-like noise, and then superimposed on the carrier signal. Specially, we propose a wireless covert channel with polarization dirty constellation (WCC-PDC), which is polarized to solve the problem of low signal power in backscatter communication. Some methods are used to combine covert code block with carrier information block and increase the undetectability of covert communication. Additionally, successive-cancellation decoder and successive-cancellation list decoder are adopted to improve the reliability of WCC-PDC. Simulation results are finally provided to verify the improvement of undetectability and reliability with WCC-PDC.

The internet that we see today has progressed from read only web to the read write web to the recited write implement web which has taken the Global Web to a new dimension that we know as3-Dimensional internet. It is developing to become the virtual environment or cyber space facilitating communication, entertainment, and business on a global level. In this paper we are willing to implement 3-Dimension internet against the 2D technology and the present 3-Dimension methodologies. Our goal in this paper is getting a glance of the next generation internet and its overwhelming power. We will be discussing the intervening steps that lead to the evolution of this new virtual world, architecture, evolving technologies from it that have taken interactivity to an advanced levelled step. This paper presents new research directing the future of both for 3-Dimension internet and cognitive information communication. It reviews definitions and basic concepts and gives some “existent” view that helps to understand current projects and international trends.
