Graph theory is a subdivision of discrete mathematics. In graph theory, a graph is made up of vertices connected through edges. Topological indices are numerical parameters or descriptors of graph. Topological index tells the symmetry of compound and helps us to compare those mathematical values, with boiling point, melting point, density, viscosity, hydrophobic surface area, polarity, etc., of that compound. In the present research paper, degree-based topological indices of Zeolite Socony Mobil-5 are calculated. Names of those topological indices are Randić index, first Zagreb index, general sum connectivity index, hyper-Zagreb index, geometric index, ABC index, etc.

The structure of any finite molecular graph which represent numerical quantities are known as topological indices. The importance of topological indices is generally linked with QSAR/QSPR. In this paper, we compute general Zagreb (M஑_) index, general Randic connectivity (R஑_) index, general sum-connectivity (χ஑) index, atom-bond connectivity (ABC) index, and geometric-arithmetic (GA) index,ABCସ, GAହ, multiple Zagreb indices and Zagreb polynomial indices of the of dual graph of benzene ring embedded in P-type-surface in 2D network.

In this work, we obtained new results relating the generalized atom-bond connectivity index with the general Randić index. Some of these inequalities for ABCα improved, when α=1/2, known results on the ABC index. Moreover, in order to obtain our results, we proved a kind of converse Hölder inequality, which is interesting on its own.

In this research paper, we will compute the topological indices (degree based) such as the ordinary generalized geometric-arithmetic (OGA) index, first and second Gourava indices, first and second hyper-Gourava indices, general Randic´ index R γ G , for  γ = ± 1 , ± 1 / 2 , harmonic index, general version of the harmonic index, atom-bond connectivity (ABC) index, SK, SK1, and SK2 indices, sum-connectivity index, general sum-connectivity index, and first general Zagreb and forgotten topological indices for various types of chemical networks such as the subdivided polythiophene network, subdivided hexagonal network, subdivided backbone DNA network, and subdivided honeycomb network. The discussion on the aforementioned networks will give us very remarkable results by using the aforementioned topological indices.

AbstractFor a simple graph G, the atom–bond connectivity index (ABC) of G is defined as ABC(G) = $\sum_{uv\in{}E(G)} \sqrt{\frac{d(u)+d(v)-2}{d(u)d(v)}},$where d(v) denotes the degree of vertex v of G. In this paper, we prove that for any bipartite graph G of order n ≥ 6, size 2n − 3 with δ(G) ≥ 2, $ABC(G)\leq{}\sqrt{2}(n-6)+2\sqrt{\frac{3(n-2)}{n-3}}+2,$and we characterize all extreme bipartite graphs.

Topological Index (TI) is a numerical value associated with the molecular graph of the compound. Smoothness property states that a TI is good if its Structure Sensitivity (SS) is as large as possible and its Abruptness (Abr) is small. In 2013, Gutman proved that Atomic Bond Connectivity (ABC) index has small SS and high Abr. In this paper, we defined reverse Atomic Bond Connectivity (ABC) index to overcome this problem. Moreover, we computed reverse ABC index for Silicon Carbides, Bismith Tri-Iodide and Dendrimers.

Background In discrete-choice experiments (DCEs), choice alternatives are described by attributes. The importance of each attribute can be quantified by analyzing respondents’ choices. Estimates are valid only if alternatives are defined comprehensively, but choice tasks can become too difficult for respondents if too many attributes are included. Several solutions for this dilemma have been proposed, but these have practical or theoretical drawbacks and cannot be applied in all settings. The objective of the current article is to demonstrate an alternative solution, the fold-in, fold-out approach (FiFo). We use a motivating example, the ABC Index for burden of disease in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Methods Under FiFo, all attributes are part of all choice sets, but they are grouped into domains. These are either folded in (all attributes have the same level) or folded out (levels may differ). FiFo was applied to the valuation of the ABC Index, which included 15 attributes. The data were analyzed in Bayesian mixed logit regression, with additional parameters to account for increased complexity in folded-out questionnaires and potential differences in weight due to the folding status of domains. As a comparison, a model without the additional parameters was estimated. Results Folding out domains led to increased choice complexity for respondents. It also gave domains more weight than when it was folded in. The more complex regression model had a better fit to the data than the simpler model. Not accounting for choice complexity in the models resulted in a substantially different ABC Index. Conclusion Using a combination of folded-in and folded-out attributes is a feasible approach for conducting DCEs with many attributes.
