In this paper, we address one of the most important topics in the field of Social Networks Analysis: the community detection problem with additional information. That additional information is modeled by a fuzzy measure that represents the risk of polarization. Particularly, we are interested in dealing with the problem of taking into account the polarization of nodes in the community detection problem. Adding this type of information to the community detection problem makes it more realistic, as a community is more likely to be defined if the corresponding elements are willing to maintain a peaceful dialogue. The polarization capacity is modeled by a fuzzy measure based on the JDJpol measure of polarization related to two poles. We also present an efficient algorithm for finding groups whose elements are no polarized. Hereafter, we work in a real case. It is a network obtained from Twitter, concerning the political position against the Spanish government taken by several influential users. We analyze how the partitions obtained change when some additional information related to how polarized that society is, is added to the problem.

AbstractThe aim of the study was to investigate if there are any differences in effects of extracts of commercially (GC) and alternatively (wheat straw) (GA) cultivated Ganoderma lucidum basidiocarps on properties of peritoneal macrophages (PM) and monocyte-derived dendritic cells (MoDCs). GA extract stronger stimulated the metabolic and phagocytic activity of PMs, their adhesion capability and ability to produce ROS and NO compared to GC. Both tested extracts significantly increased allostimulatory and Th1 polarization capacity of simultaneous TLR3 and TLR7-activated MoDCs, but GA extract was more effective. The GA extract increased the production of ROS and NO by TLR4 stimulated PMs and up-regulated the production of certain cytokines as well as allostimulatory and Th1 polarization capacity of MoDCs. The GA extract could be a potent immunostimulatory agent for activation of MoDCs with the simultaneous engagement of TLRs that seems to be a promising strategy for preparation of DC-based anti-tumor vaccines.

The paper discusses new circuit solutions in the practice of electrochemical protection of pipelines. The aim of the work is to develop methods for measuring the polarization potential between the two control and measuring points of the pipeline under study. The main measurement methods are considered, a new method for measuring the polarization potential is proposed, based on local polarization current deviation using switched resistive circuits with subsequent mathematical processing of clock measurements. When implementing this method, it is possible to obtain additional information about the absolute value of the resistance of the soil in the control zone. In this paper, a new method of topographical referencing of the detected defect locations to the length of the pipeline under study is considered. Feature differences of the method are the use of a screened cable as a portable cable drum wire, the central core of which is used for galvanic connection of the pipeline with a voltmeter, and a braid for measuring the distance from the measuring point to the current position of the operator, as well as using a single time scale based on two Glonass / GPS receivers located respectively in the control and measuring point and the voltmeter carried by the operator. The proposed method is positioned a pipeline defect with a resolution of 0.1 m.

Measurements have been made of the capacitance and conductance at 200 c.p.s. of a series of potassium bromide crystals doped with divalent anion and cation impurities. The dependence of the space-charge polarization capacity, caused by blocking of current carriers at the electrodes, on the conductivity and diffusion coefficient of carriers has been established. It is concluded that linearized theories of space-charge polarization cannot explain the experimental results.
